Actually they explained that it was protected by RFRA and that law didn't violate the constitution.

Yes and no. The race and ethnicity of the victims tends to effect the actual punishments for defendants much more than their race. Additionally while he is white he is also Hispanic. Another group that doesn't tend to be treated to "White justice" historically. He isn't really a good example in trends of prosecution

Well of course. Poverty tends to continue in a family. And seeing as discriminatory pay wasn't illegal until 1964 it makes sense that it would continue to affect those who were affected at those times and their descendant for quite some time. Especially seeing as our "War on Poverty" doesn't do much to actually solve

In all fairness he was shown to not be guilty. But yeah he is pretty lame and dopey (though to be fair most of the different Eternals are (though most of them that we meet in the comics are Human Eternals and not from Titan)).

Come on. If we thought and worked we wouldn't have went to Iraq in 2003. Why screw with tradition.

So something I've always wondered. Obviously certain minorities go to jail disproportionately. How much of that is racism and how much of that is poverty? It seems minorities that tend to be wealthier tend to go to jail less (to me at least). Is their a study analyzing which has a higher effect of the disparity?

That or he'll assault another cop.

Is their any way it will pertain to religious groups? I mean essentially it only applies to contractors and federal employee's. Be real nice if congress could pass a law that would effect all employees.

I'm surprised that he isn't in jail. Dude has a history of violence and over reacting. Even not including Trayvon's death the dude should be in jail.

I would say that some up my understanding of this excellently. Also their is little chance that they can't find evidence to convict. Unlike 1st degree murder (for which they would need to prove that the defendant planned to kill someone in a premeditated manner) manslaughter can be charged based on negligence and 2nd

Couple questions and comments.

It's a male. Those pinchers are used more to hold a female in place and don't have that much jaw strength (comparatively). Now the females have vice like jaws (the 2 to 3 inch onces around haere can draw blood).

I always gathered from my readings that Gehenna is more like purgatory than the christian concept of hell.

Nope we keep ours by the rainbow in a pot (it also has marshmallows). I'm thinking about moving mine under a gay pride float.

I'm doubting BP or BW (though I would love to see a BP movie). They haven't even been discussing a BW movie (according to Johansen at least). And while I think Black Panther is the best choice for a stand alone movie out of those you listed I'm doubting it (as they haven't alluded to it at all and the last BP property

Can't they apply for refugee status at any US embassy or consolate? I mean that would have given them a better shot I would think at obtaining it. And a hell of a lot safer trip.

That sucks. Sorry to hear.

Sorry to hear. I know in 7th grade I got mistaken for a girl from behind (hadn't really hit puberty by that point. But other than that basic confusion people weren't really nasty about it.

Looking around at the jokes most readers don't seem to have a problem. A large portion of the comments are calling the woman crazy and mocking her. So I would say the audience here largely found the piece to be written appropriately.

I would prefer that. And some writers here have definitely taken that tone in their writing when a man is the victim. I just don't think it is the case that Isha is being unfair with this article in comparison to other's that she has written. I could be wrong. Maybe I missed a few of hers. But I don't think she does
