I heard the thing about the writers not liking the source material and I couldn’t help but note that honestly, neither did I.

I’ve always liked Nvidia, but it sounds like I’m an AMD man now.

She is literally still going, you might be able to interview her on stream haha...

I don’t get the scare tactics companies use to keep employees from unionizing. ‘You’re signing away your bargaining rights!’ Because I had leverage to bargain for better pay and conditions before, riiiiiiight? ‘They take part of your paycheck! That’s your money!’ ah yes, says the company paying me literal bottom

Personally I just straight up refuse to back any projects on Kickstarter anymore, ESPECIALLY software projects. There is too much grey area in the accountability and I don’t give a damn what they try to call it, it is a pre-development pre-order platform, period. It should be held accountable to the same laws and

Why is it that everyone wants to point out that it’s fine because it’s not a lot of money? To whom, exactly? It’s not about to break me, but if someone was to steal $1 from everyone in America they’d still be a millionaire. They weren’t honest about a major feature of the game and some people are entitled to be

Think less of a ‘blaming’; I agree that refunding the game simply because you COULD is crap. Refunding it because you got to the end much sooner than you expected and were left feeling it wasn’t worth what you paid for it? Not being satisfied is a perfectly good reason to request a refund for ANY product... and there

I mean, while I get that the game is a great experience and all the devil’s advocate in me sees a glaring issue right away: the store page makes no mention of the expected play time.

Probably Japan.

Personally, I think as a whole Asian games fall short of a Western audience in one major way; note that this can apply to Japanese games, but for the most part we’re all used to Japanese games and most Japanese developers have moved away from this. I’m talking specifically about Chinese and Korean titles.

That grind,

To be fair, they are making those cars bafflingly small these days.

I’ve been wondering about that - we cannot call a First Lady with an actual doctorate ‘Doctor’, but this clown can run around claiming the title. Does he even HAVE a doctorate? (asking in earnest, I don’t care to look that slimy piece of shite up)

“...bravado is a front for a character that devastatingly sad and emotionally broken”

Controversial opinion: good. I hope China locks the international version out, too. I have nothing but disdain for the Chinese gaming community, as I have seen everything from gold farming and hacking in the early days of WoW to unplayable survival games (Atlas) due to hordes of them blatantly aimbotting and wiping

I love the game itself, too, and would gladly play a game just like it with the gacha and resin lockouts. It reminds me of how much I enjoyed collecting hard to find characters in Suikoden 2, and the controls and gameplay make Breath of the Wild feel clunky.

I think embargos are inherently flawed and should be ignored by *ALL* media and reporters.

See, the problem is that many of us depend on reviews to gauge a game on a number of metrics. It is free advertising to a good game and a nail in the coffin for a bad one - and in an era of rampant pushing of pre-order product,

Your comment aside your avatar is golden.

Ah, I see now. My bad.

Though to be fair, it *could* be read either way.

You’re saying that a state that has voted for a Democrat for President twice since 1952, the most recent of which has been in office for less than a month can somehow blame *any* of it’s problems on Democrat influence?

Might need to go back to the drawing board with that opinion, friend.

If we’re talking old-school console RPG’s: Suikoden II, Valkyrie Profile, Breath of Fire 3 (though the last I’ve never beaten... always get distracted).

PC games take up more of my time these days. I regularly replay Rimworld, Civilization (5/6), Total War (any), Mount & Blade, Battle Brothers, Conan Exiles, Terria
