So ... we agree?

Whatever, man. Just keep waiting’ on those lines while I speed by you!

I meant free because you make back those $16 almost immediately. Does every nuance need to be explained to you, Junior?

Pretty much agree with all this, but it should be pointed out that the two Titans you mentioned getting pissed at Cam are black.

Here’s a Q&A With Maceo the Cat about Neil Lifer’s new book:

The entire I-95 Northeast corridor has insane traffic, from Boston to DC. It’s not just NYC. We drive from our home in NYC to Maryland a half-dozen times a year, and it saves us an hour each way. There are to many tolls on that drive.

I’m talking about EZ Pass here in the Northeast. But sure, I guess if you really only use it once a year, no biggie.

Also, not sure where you’ve gotten the idea that roads have been “paid for years ago.” (As if a road is any road is ever “paid for.” You do realize they need to be maintained, yes?)

You’re hilarious. Don’t ever change, you magnificent, cynical, paranoid little weirdo!

If you're on a road trip of a couple hours or more, avoiding tolls means a lot of added time. My time is more important than saving a few bucks. But to each his own! (And again, toll-avoiders aren't the people I was referring to in my OP, anyway.)

So you just avoid places where there are tolls? And tolls aren’t just in “cities.” You’re a hermit, aren’t you?

We live in Brooklyn and go through Staten Island to get anywhere south/southwest of here!

I know there are ways (that’s why I said “pretty much”). So I guess you’re set if you’re heading north from Manhattan, which is of course the only way in out out of NYC, and surely the way you’d want to go if you were heading west, south or east, or lived in Brooklyn, Queens, or S.I. Come on, man.

Sure, but since the tolls are discounted for EZP owners, it pays for itself. (And hell, even if it didn’t, the $15-20 a year is well worth the time savings.)

So you never drive anywhere but Houston?

Nah, definitely not “mostly.” Sure, some.

Ha. As if I care about Texas. (Though I would support those Texas jackasses who want to secede!)

what

Hmm, not sure what you mean. I live in NYC (Brooklyn), and you pretty much can’t leave or enter the city without paying a toll.

How have I done that? I’ve always said that everyone should have EZ Pass because it saves valuable time. Keep working on your reading comprehension!
