I didn't buy the i3 for all out perf figures, I have other BMWs for that. ( I work for a leading BMW center in NJ)

I've had it for 3.5 months and I have driven 5k miles. I charge it at home on a level 2 charger (240v). I live in NJ and my energy provider is JCP&L which charges me $.13 per kWh. The battery pack is 22kWh but only 18.8 of that is usable. I have the REx for emergency scenarios. I have used .9 gallons of the 1.9…
Wrong! Automotive battery re purposing is coming on line now. Soon you'll be able to use Automotive batteries to store energy in your home from the Solar Array and Energy providers will be able to use them for the same purpose. The car itself can be recycled. Why do you thing BMW makes it a point to tell you that the…
I have no intentions of keeping the car to 100K miles,. But if I did BMW warranties the battery pack in NJ because it's a CARB state for 120K miles!
My i3 is a heck of a lot more reliable than 99% of the smartphones on the market! LOL

The Aventador is 3472lbs (Dry weight)
Well if the current i8 holds its own against the likes of the M4 and other like cars with only 354Bhp I'd say with 500HP it'll be a winner.
It does if it weighs 3500lbs..
Not Phoenix yellow but it's spiritual successor, Austin yellow.
Much better torque figures should ensure the M235 will really outperform the E46 M3 in every measure.
Indeed it is perfect. For 98% of the enthusiasts the M235 is the best car since the E46 M3. For the other 2%, there will be an M2 to quell their thirst.
It's the same footprint (to withing fractions of inches) as the E46 M3..
Named after arguably the greatest set of turns in Formula 1 yet it could barely hope to hang on for turn 1 at your local corner... pffft
Hey there old friend! Hope all is well!
