*chanting* Cars are art! Cars are art!
I have a soft spot for the bustleback Seville, but it's more of a campy, nostalgic kind of soft spot. The Mark VII was actually a good car for the time, by like actual, quantifiable stuff, the Seville was really just a uniquely styled junk pile with admittedly excellent ride quality.
I want a Mondial. Dont hurt me!
I realize that you're just defending your argument (which I agree with), but you're coming off as a bit of a dick.
I own a Grand Am (which my wife owned before we were married) and one of my (many) frustrations with it is that the little 3.4l never received any of the fancy upgrades that the LS series did. No aluminum block being one of the bigger ones, but also the undertuning of the engine. 190hp out of a 3.4l iron block in the…
Man this takes me back to all those pushrod vs. dohc forum flame wars from my high school days.
I'm actually with you for everything except the last part, where I would make a couple of addendums. The MPG versus peak HP is a pretty crappy measure of an engine's efficiency, as MPG is a factor of so many things besides…
yet it still sounds like a tractor... supercars sing, tractors plow.
I hope that's a typo. The car was called the NSX. It's engine was totally bespoke. Honda has never made a production DOHC VTEC V6 besides the NSX.
This is the worst thing that can happen to an Alfa Romeo.
I found the Lancia fantastic, because I am fond of all the futuristic Bertone concept cars from the 60s-70s (Carabo, Marzal, Stratos Zero, etc). I am ultimately happy for meeting the Sibilo.

I can't believe how far Keyshawn & Justin have fallen.
"...perfect car for driving a road like this."
Yes that silly zo6 and ZR1 couldn't handle one bit...not like they were just as fast as a Ferrari for a 3rd the price
Except the car is slower, cannot put that power to the ground, and heavier. It is like putting 600 hp in a lawnmower
I've gotta admit. There is nothing as god-awful irritating on the road as people that drive massive pickup trucks for no reason.
I'll submit the Fiat 2300S Coupe
Mhmm, they've been able to do it in multiple forms. The Montreal exemplifies this as well.
It has got to be the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. It is amazingly beautiful, but not flashy. It has a great noise, but it isn't shouty. It's fast, but it doesn't get carried away.
