C'mon, that concept looks liek a reject from Speed Racer, but yes, the production model was even worse. (See 'bloated' and 'horrible overhang')

TH LH cars were pretty advanced for their time, especially in terms of design, and especially for an American company.

The 405 was not a hot hatch and yet praised for its handling, but I agree; they need another 205 and 309 GTi

That certainly would be differerent and be very steampunk

Surprising, but then it's a show car. I'm sure it's sealed somehow, otherwise, steampunk show car? Now I'm curious to see it.

Really? I love the copper finish. I'm sure it's not real copper as a patina on your futuristic super car wouldn't be cool

Automotive design history knowledge fail

Not what I've read. I seem to recall the testers were quite fond of it. Peugeot has a long history of making sweet handling cars with a near perfect ride/handling compromise.

Any excuse for human trash to break into mindless violence and destruction. Ugh, humans...

Yeah, that's his hat and headphones

TVR down, next...Saab...(Hey, I can dream)

Funny, I started just about an all out flame war with another commenter last week when I dissed lazy GM engines of the 80s and 90s for making very little power out of huge displacements. Where were you when I needed you man? This is great news though. Love TVRs, and the fact that they made their awesome engines

There is a god after all.

They managed to survive for 60 years or so, so I say they have a good chance of making it in the right hands.

What's your point?

Easy...insert F1 engine between the axles.

No offense meant; I happen to love many things Swedish, including Abba and Ikea. Those two are associated with Sweden much like hamburgers and cowboys. Global icons spur harmless stereotypes. Lady GaGa isn't Swedish though

Duh, of course DAFs are dutch. I got confused because few were sold as Volvos in the 70s I think. This looks awesome, love that 96 (?) rally

You keep talking crazy like that and you're going to get yourself committed!

"BOOOOORN, IN THE USA!!!!"
