Love it, but I'm always leery of home built conversions like this. The execution is seldom as great as the concept. Also, always thought it perverse to swap an engine from another make. Would like this more with a VR6, modern TSi 2.0T or a Boxster mill. Do love 914s though.

Which V6 is the Busso? Is the more modern 3.2? I have two Alfas with the Arese V6 in 2.5 and 3.0 sizes.

You've been reading my diary of automotive fantasies

Me too. At least the engine swap isn't as perverse.

I'll leave this right here:

It certainly wasn't a GREAT car, but the overhyped gas tank location snafu brought more derision down on the little runabout and hauler than was deserved. My dad bought a used '71 with the Kent 2.0 and a manual, and it was pretty decent and reliable. I just hated the impossible tall cowl I couldn't see over as a wee

SAVE THE PINTO WAGONS! (Especially if they're factory Cruising Wagons)

WHOA! Seriously? That sounds like a giant hoot! I just love wee cars that go surprisingly fast. Can't wait to get mine.

Aww shucks, it doesn't have a 500 hp V8. You're a bitter party pooper. True story

Car & Driver & other car mags managed to hit 60 in the Abarth one second sooner, which is a pretty big difference. Was teh parking brake on?

Pffttt...I had a 10 speed when I was 12...

Do want...Saw a '12 9-5 just the other day and it took some serious effort to stifle a tear

Corvette is suspicious of what you're saying...

...and idiotic...

So he beats up his women as well as his cars?

If you rear end someone you were following too close and /or not paying attention. It's always your fault. Sucks but it's true.

Even trees know BMWs are driven by ass hats. Still, the death of any M5 is always a sad day

Dat Alfa ass...must change drawers now...

Yup, go back to your quiet little safe corner where no one can confuse you or challenge you with intelligent thoughts, observations or new ideas

Oh SNAP!
