I think what SacedByte was saying that the panels cost the same whether or not they are subsidized. We will still have to pay for it (through our taxes) and it wouldn't be a good investment because they do not end up paying for themselves. Therefore it would be a waste of money.

I've owned several things made of carbon fiber, and while not indestructible, Id say it handles light impacts better than aluminum. Aluminum will dent, where the carbon fiber will not.

Most people already have bike locks... There is most likely a way to lock you bike to this unit using said bike lock.
