Blink-182 represented everything that was wrong with mall punk. I think one of them was also rich because of his dad’s ties to the weapon industry (unless I’m thinking of another shitty “punk” band). So yeah. They’re the worst and this kind of makes sense to me even though they seem oddly matched.

I didn’t know who Travis Barker was - Blink 182. Lol worst band ever.  They’re a bit of a weird match, but ok.

As the dad of an out-and-proud 14 year-old, it sure does rule to live in the first era of human history where a gay kid can be themselves with less fear of reprisals than ever before (yes, I know it’s still dangerous and yes I’ve made her aware of that, but I’m still happy for her).

My wife made the observation that Euphoria’s next season should absolutely be set in the COVID-19 pandemic. No show would be better equipped to drop a global crisis on top of an already Everest-sized mountain of anxieties.

Reaction from parents and conservative media will be a large factor in deciphering whether the cultural pendulum has indeed shifted enough so that a popular child celebrity coming out elicits little more than a shrug in response.
