They don’t even offer subscription access to most everything in comixology. I just joined because a lot of the manga publishers I like are in there, and this is hundreds and hundreds of titles, and the selection they have for unlimited is like... 10 random titles that are far from popular, with some of the publishers…

DC also doesn’t seem terribly interested in digitizing their deep catalogue back-issues that aren’t part of an existing TPB collection. So a lot of 1-off issues or not-important/popular-enough-to-merit-a-TPB runs aren’t even in digital format.
This appears to be Image/IDW/Valiant/etc’s way of building their own Marvel Unlimited-like service without needing to build their own infrastructure.
