The timing on this article couldn’t be better, as I finally caved and bought Bloodborne last weekend for the grand sum of $11.99 from my local GS. I am not a huge fan of the Souls games in general, but the moment I realized my hastily-chosen sword cane also turned into a chain whip, I was hooked.

Hoping I can get a chance to play this at GenCon next week. The FFG booth is always busy, but it’s pretty well managed and they are good about making sure people get a chance to demo things.

Cleaning out my attic last weekend, I found a box with all of my old PC game boxes and floppies, and what was there?

Apparently, there’s a point where the heli goes from lift to forward movement, but I’ve found/seen no way to transition manually. It’s automatic and unpredictable. If you are pushing the stick forward when the movement transition happens, you end up pushing the heli toward the ground.

If I can continue to have as much fun as I had in the beta sessions with my group, this will be a game we play for a long time, long after we’ve completed the story in co-op.

Well, my friends and I played the Xbox One version during the Beta weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. While we experienced some bugs (biggest being players avatars glitching into the environment, but still being active on their client - causing phantom player/drivers) we loved the tactical options and the open

Wow. Just, wow.

Dammit. You win.

Ok. This is maybe the best reaction .gif ever.

OK.

Possible correction at the end of the article. You call it the Tokyo Olympics and I believe you meant to say the Rio Olympics.

I am REALLY fighting my completionist urge in this game, as I know it’s a physical impossibility to “complete” it. However, I am still on my starter planet, trying to find all of the monoliths/language stones and such that I can before I move on.

Well, as usual, I bought a used Star Wars edition PS4 on Saturday, then read about the Slim..

Just FYI - the GIF is from the War of the World flick with Tom Cruise. I recall being impressed with that effect when I initially saw the film.

As much as I love the idea of this game and parts of the implementation, Pokemon Go has earned a seat on my backburner for the time being. There is potential there, but Niantic has FAR too many pokeballs in the air to be able to focus on any real fixes or feature updates in the short term.

I call that BatmanVR is actually a VR experience INSIDE a VR experience. You are Bats in a VR simulator of Nightwing’s murder, meant to sharpen your skills.

All the high-fives on this, Evan.

All my monies - take them.

Still tops my list of animated DC films, for sure. I’ve liked a lot of them, but I saw Mask of the Phantasm in the theater and that is a great memory from my teenage years. With the quality of the script and the voice acting, it really is a standout.

Out of the games I’ve tried with my Gear VR and Galaxy S7, this is the one I’ve enjoyed most. The tone of the game and the environmental puzzles have been quite fun and well produced.
