Interesting. I didn’t see that as a retcon for Poe, just adding to his backstory. As in, he’s STILL a New Republic ace pilot, but before that, he was a spice runner. I never got the impression either of those things was mutually exclusive.

Another person confirming that I did enjoy both TFA and TLJ. I stay out of the online discourse regarding the franchise due to my lack of a need for someone to agree with my enjoyment of the films and my lack of a need for someone to tell me why I am wrong for doing so. I like them and I don’t require that anyone else

This is the most common sense answer. Enjoy the additional star.

Only one viewing here, but I believe that after the drones warn Beck about not firing due to his proximity, and Beck screams at them to override and fire anyway, he gets shot in the crossfire as the drones attack and Spidey goes all dodgy with his Peter-Tingle. (that line and it’s call-back made me laugh so hard!)

The timing on this article couldn’t be better, as I finally caved and bought Bloodborne last weekend for the grand sum of $11.99 from my local GS. I am not a huge fan of the Souls games in general, but the moment I realized my hastily-chosen sword cane also turned into a chain whip, I was hooked.

This. Most people I know that are watching Netflix are either using Smart TVs, Roku, Chromecast or using their mobile to stream to TV. Granted, that’s anecdotal information, but it’s a valid portrait of a modern media consumer.

Hoping I can get a chance to play this at GenCon next week. The FFG booth is always busy, but it’s pretty well managed and they are good about making sure people get a chance to demo things.

I still consider it a crime of sorts that the Nemesis system they developed for Shadow of Mordor wasn’t adapted for use in other games. I don’t have a vested interest in LOTR, but that system alone kept me playing Shadow of Mordor LONG after I would have typically lost interest.

I’ve said this a bunch, and I don’t think I’m alone on this: Someone at SyFy (I still hate typing that, even after the last few years) needs to pick up the G.R.R.M.-edited book series ‘Wild Cards’ and turn that into a TV series.

I believe I’m picking up what you’re putting down, sir. :)

Amen to this. For a long time, the Luthors were the only thing that kept me going through all of the “truth and lies” storylines they kept shoving down the viewers faces.

And yes - to clarify, I know he and his bro are showrunning it. I just meant that I feel like Donald could do the character justice by voicing him as well.

Interesting. To be fair, I think Glover could pull off voicing Deadpool, but that’s all going to be dependent on the script. It could be beautiful, stylized and fun animation but if the script is garbage, count me out.

When I saw the still image, all I could think of was...

Cleaning out my attic last weekend, I found a box with all of my old PC game boxes and floppies, and what was there?

Thank you. I was coming into the comments just to point that out. It’s pretty horrible, and I think you’re not giving enough credit to SyFy Originals. :)

Very true. I forgot all about that. Good catch!

I think you’re absolutely right, and it makes me a little sad to admit. (Not admitting that you’re right, but that as a comic-book aficionado, I am not the target demo.)

Or, you know, learned that lesson from their show’s grandfather, “Smallville” - I swear, I loved that show, but from season 1-season 10, they never learned the lesson that “Secrets, secrets are no fun. Secrets, secrets hurt someone.”

This is my favorite comment on this thread, period. :)
