Not 100% sure - they haven't made it clear if the rep can be gained after the event ends. It's running until Oct. 6th, so there's still time at the moment. :)

I feel you. Level 25 Hunter here and my fireteam is more focused on strikes and bounties to get rep and gear. Plus, now we're working on Queen rep while the event lasts.

Personally, I'm farming the cave for engrams to decrypt and raise the Cryptarch's level. My success rate of decrypting legendaries has seemed better the higher I raise his level. Jason, is it possible to amend the headline to end with the word "bonus"? The current headline implies that Bungie is paying 2.5 mil because of low scores, when it is actually the possible loss of a bonus.

Sorry - for some reason, my post last night never made it.

Played last night with my fireteam, and I can concur. There were a few times where we finished the fight (typically boss fights) and we felt like we "earned" the win. It wasn't a cakewalk, and that's what I was hoping for.

I'm on board with the scout rifle for the mid/long-range combat. Easy to take advantage of one-shot kills and provides much better situation awareness than the limited view from the sniper.
