Got this same headset via Deals just after the holidays for $40 - best headset purchase I've made so far. Comfy, and well fitting earpieces, and the sound on both the transmission and general sound quality is great.

I thought Michaelangelo looked familiar...

Thanks for the great interview, Jason. You've given a lot to digest about Peter and I particularly enjoyed the cross-section of people who've worked with him being interviewed as well.

Gotta say, the mushroom beatdown is my favorite, spores down.

I had no idea Dana Carvey had gotten into platform design. :)

Agreed. I'll be playing this pretty often over the next 2.5 weeks.

Patched it up last night (which seemed to take FAR too long for my liking on a decent high-speed connection) and got in to play around 9:00PM, intending to check it out for an hour or so.

So, in essence, he's saying "There are bugs; don't buy it YET." then turning around and saying "LOOK AT THE AWESOME WAY THEY SET UP CANADA! but don't buy it yet"...

Oh yeah! Well, I'm calling the announcement of BttF 4 occurring in December.

I haven't had that issue, but I never test max volume on my headphones. Mostly because I never need to turn anything up that loud that close to my ears. :)

I see the other side of it, myself, but you make a valid point.

Thanks for this - it's a good explanation of why the review is weighted the way it is.

I understand that, but he did exactly that in the review. He gave the verdict in the first 3rd of the review, then went on to talk about all of the really good stuff...

Well, let's hope he gets around to me.. :)

I actually LIKE the review system, so just calling it bullshit without providing specific examples doesn't really get much traction with me. No offence, but give me a reason to think it's bullshit other than this instance, which is less about the review and more about the contradiction.

I get that sentiment, I really do. I just disagree with the contradiction, that's all.

I disagree. I am fine with someone giving a review of "Not Yet", especially given our current state of day one patches, QA issues and the like.

Jason, I'm a bit torn here.

Just go with it, man. Few mortals get to say they had a brush with the immortal presence of Billy the Kid. :)
