I just haven't got around to linking my steam purchased EA games to origin. I don't really have a reason to because I'd rather launch them through Steam anyway.

I almost never use subtitles in games, but I appreciate it when games include the option. My wife is Japanese and it is sometimes difficult to hear what people are saying in games (especially when they speak with thick accents).

For me, XBOX360 and PS3 was a choice between Halo and Metal Gear. However, I've found myself playing more and more games on my PC lately, so I probably won't be buying a new console until the new systems have been out for a few years each and prices drop to the $200-299 price range.

The eye adaptation effect in the second video is really cool. In fact, all of the new lighting effects look quite impressive.

If I remember correctly, the developers are trying to go for a father/daughter vibe, but the characters are not actually blood related. they haven't shared any backstory yet, but I imagine that Joel probably found Ellie as a daughter after everything went to hell and decided to take her under his wing.

Tactus is a really cool concept, but it isn't ready for prime time yet. The biggest problem I see right now is the fact that it uses a soft plastic film for the front of the screen which is going to get scratched up really easily and won't be cheap to replace like the plastic screen protectors out there. Did ADW EX ever add swipe gestures to their dock? that was the one feature that kept me on launcher pro over ADW. For example, my alternate dock was filled with my 5 most common contacts. I set LP to tap their picture for direct dial, and swipe up to text them.
