Snake Eater, the best James Bond theme never to appear in a James Bond movie. My friend who is a dance instructor did a ballroom performance to that song. It was pretty awesome.

I forgot how bad the voice acting was in that game. Still a great game though. Capcom really needs to make a new mega man X.

I think I spent more time figuring out that stupid puzzle when you first get aboard the Vogan ship than I did playing GTAIV. Text adventures in the pre-internet era were brutal.

This makes me wonder if any money exchanged hands between Valve and Blizzard. I've been involved in business transactions with Activision Blizzard and I find it hard to believe the they simply realized "at the end of the day, players just want to be able to play the games they're looking forward to."

If you really owned the game, I wouldn't give anyone a hard time over this. I don't think this is a problem from a moral standpoint, but from a legal standpoint it is breaking the law.

Um... you were saying?

Re-read my post - It specifically states why farmville doesn't need to register Pyramidville to establish a trademark claim. I work in IP law. I'm quite sure I am not "most clearly wrong."

Not to mention the lighting. look at Jade's shadow on the wall as she runs up the stairs.

Zynga ownes trademarks on farmville, cityville, castleville, etc. It doesn't need to own a trademark on every word with ville on the end to make a trademark claim. The fact that it has established the pattern of -ville games is sufficient under US trademark law.

Looks like you beat me to it. Good explanation.

The article says that it was an experiment for a Human Computer Interaction class.

I've got to support Aethelric on this one. I work in IP law and Zynga has a solid argument here and I'd bet that they will likely win this one in court. The argument of "As long as they haven't copyrighted every word with "Ville" in it they don't own it" isn't correct because we are dealing with trademark law here,

If compare my experiences in Japan and France, trying to learn Japanese in Japan was much more frustrating because the people are TOO polite. They refused to tell me when I made mistakes, even if I asked them to. French people on the other hand were much more likely to laugh at my petty attempts to speak their

I also play as Lei in Tekken (2nd choice being Asuka). My other favorite fighting character is Talim from Soul Caliber.

I think that the history of the TES world is deep enough and fleshed out enough to support an MMO (obviously not as developed as Star Wars, but not a weakness). However, it isn't interesting enough by itself. It needed something and exciting in its gameplay to make it stand out and be worth playing. I'll reserve

I've decided that the best sign that your Japanese ability is getting better is that people stop commenting about how good your Japanese is. The surest sign that you said something that came out strange or unnatural is the response "日本語お上手ですね。" (You have really good Japanese). It always irkes me when I make a

Thanks Brian!!! I lived in Japan for 4 years and never even heard of a cat cafe. I've got to learn more and plan a visit my next trip back.

Thanks. Its been too long. I really need to go back and play the classic SNES RPGs again.

The best way to play is with an emulator on the PC with filters to recreate the feel of the SNES. The first shot comparison from this article [[www.thedailybuggle.com]] uses FF6 (or maybe that is chrono trigger, its been a while since I've played these games and I can't remember what the enemy uniforms looked like)

Suikoden II was the last game I fell asleep to (but that was only because I stayed up playing the game until 6:00 am). That game was so great, but really bad for my sleep schedule.
