Agreed.

Yep, they should have kept the V12. When cars like the EB110, Diablo, F1, and 512TR had screaming V12s, that engine was a huge disappointment.

They all can be CGI, but there are real photographs in a lot of them still. But to your point, even when they do actually start with photographs, they are so over processed and composited in such a way that makes them look fake.

Someday car companies will stop hiring photogs and retouchers that make their press pics look more fake than a video game. Someday, but not today.

Yep, same argument for still photography. As a part time photographer who learned after digital became the norm, I’ve dabbled with 35mm. It’s interesting and probably an experience all photogs should. Same conclusion that it’s still not really worth it. It’s more expensive and a much harder workflow. I know what

Pro-tip: if you are not an infant, don’t drink milk at all. Your bones will be fine, don’t worry.

Pretty silly/expensive to bother with 16mm when you can get the same look with post processing.

The liters per 100km or gallons per 100 miles is a MUCH better and more useful way of measuring and especially comparing efficiency. I wish the US used that system.

In terms of engineering on something at this level of development? Yes, 5.7% of anything is significant.

Both are pretty gross tbh

Now playing

Don’t really care what it’s top speed is becasue it can do this:

No, the Regera is supposed to hit about 250mph, but it it’s quicker accelerating. The 1,140hp version of the Agera R does 0-300kph in 14.5 sec, the Regera does it in 10.9 sec.

Of course they are. They’re just stretching out the publicity of the car and/or waiting to release an SS version and do it then.

Fair enough.

As if the PETA-style arguments of animal welfare/abuse aren’t reason enough - it’s terrible for the environment and there are better alternatives, some more natural than others, some that copy the look and feel and others that serve the same purpose.

what makes you think it has so much less of an effect?

No silly, I’m thinking of competing industries or those that have an interest in influencing public perception of human consumption of certain products. I don’t doubt that the incompetency of the current administration keeps the FDA mostly separate, but there are public records of all the groups that lobby to the FDA.

ENHANCE!!! MOAR JPEG!

How about industry pressure/money/influence?
