AEV did it better.
That thing is amazing.
The 80 Series Land cruisers have been there for years.
That’s not the official name of the car. On the Ferrari website, Wikipedia, and the Museum in Modena, it’s Enzo Ferrari - as an homage to the man.
Not accepting that. It’s an homage to the man, it’s as much about that as it is describing a bunch of carbon fiber and aluminium. It’s a special car from a special company honoring a special guy, let them have it.
Of course both cases are a bit silly, but we also stick to other silly naming conventions like iPhone. When we’re among friends and fellow car enthusiasts who know exactly what car we’re talking about, why not? We’re not talking to insurance agents here...
Maybe at the DMV or Geico. But the official name on the Wikipedia, Ferrari website, and Ferrari museum in Modena is just Enzo Ferrari, as a tribute to the man.
People who don’t call that car the Enzo Ferrari drive me up the wall.
And the companion piece:
Yeah but there were some very fine planes on both sides.
I hate California Nazis.
Noah is more of a car guy than Stewart was/is and probably growing up in South Africa, Noah was more exposed to F1 than the average American.
Hydroelectric, geothermal and nuclear are our best bets for energy the others have a negative environmental impact.
Let’s complete this thought:
I guess I’m over it for now, but we’re pretty much limited to Samsung if we want a flagship phone. Which has been fine thusfar (have an S9+ coming tomorrow). Hopefully by the time Samsung phases out microSD slots, internal capacity with be greater and reasonably priced.
That was beautiful and true.
I mentioned those cars as the “conventional wisdom”. Though I don’t care for the Senna on pure aesthetics, I appreciate the purposefulness of the design; form follows function and all that.
People talk about ugly cars. They make fun of the Aztek and the Murano CrossCab. The Multipla and the Senna. Hell, even the Edsel. All terrible.
Cool. No microSD card, so no deal though.
