I’m not being a shill. I’m being realistic. I’m also recognizing that LOTS of things with this console have been sub-par at first reveal, and Nintendo has been making fairly quick strides to address the issues. I think it’s good that everyone is being vocal about this. I fully intend to submit my own feedback to

I’m seeing all of this so far as just beta. The whole ‘soft-launch’ thing of this console has been very skeletal, and Nintendo issues updates and such to fix it later. Over and over again we are seeing that they decided to push out the console early to get all the fanboi demand out of the way before holidays, get a

Wow, the snark is strong with this post.

I’ve been waiting these last two weeks to start a Master Mode playthrough until we could track down a 2nd Switch (need two for Splatoon with the wife!). FINALLY succeeded today, so now I’m super excited to dive in to the Plateau again. The Master Trials were awesome, and gave me a whole new appreciation of the game.

Walked into a Gamestop on my lunch break today. They had 4 consoles just sitting there on the counter. Supply is finally starting to catch up. And it’s no different than any other console has been in its first months. Calm yourself.

Came here to comment about using an older save file...

Argh....trying to add to my cart, but keep getting an error message. Says to go back to the listing, and make sure you’ve selected a seller still offering it. Go back to the page, still shows $299 for Prime members. Rinse, repeat. :(

I was including the price of the console + the price of the game. :)

I dunno. Every COD looks like the same thing with a “fresh coat of paint on it” to me. People seem way too kind to that series, IMO.

Considering how you could spend minimum 150 hours on Zelda alone and not really see everything in the game, which would equal a $2.4 per hour deal (assuming you pay retail price), that’s a heck of a deal. I’ve paid more than that on a per hour rate for a lot of other games, and that’s not to mention the 200 hours my

When the Neon ones are back in the stock....that’s what I’m waiting for! :)

See, I disagree with this to some degree. First of all, I play games all the time at home with a simple head-set on, and no direct feed of the sound into my headset. I use the speakers in my sound system, and I have no issue whatsoever distinguishing the two things. Oh wait, that’s basically how every chat system on

I actually like the fact that the trailers don’t necessarily show things that are in the final film. I hate it when a trailer gives away too much of a movie. Like what’s the point of going to the movie then?

More Mushrooms is great except on all those levels that have no guardrails to keep you from flying off all the time. I swear, I get power mushrooms more than any other item on freaking Rainbow Road. REAL helpful there, game!  >:(

I always hated the bikes. Then I got the Master Cycle unlocked in MK8D, and I figured, what the heck, I’ll try it for a little bit.....O...M...G! :)

I actually felt like MK8D went back to the roots in some ways. My wife and I used to play MKWii all the time, and she would regularly kick my butt. My wife exclusively uses the motion controls (aka steering wheel style), while I play old-school SNES style (but with a thumb stick instead of a D-pad, obviously).

Flagged this article to read AFTER I saw the movie (on cheap ticket night...no freakin way I was gonna pay full price). Came back to read today....was not disappointed. :)

To be honest...I haven’t played games on an emulator a lot over the years, but when I did, Crono Trigger seemed to always be one of the first ones I would gravitate to. So in this case, I’ve played that one a dozen times or more. While I would totally play it again, I’m super excited to see these other ones instead!

That’s how FFXII felt to me too. I’m not sure why. Elements from VI, VII, X, and XIII stick SO much better in my mind. I vaguely remember exploring sewers of the city with the young boy and his couple friends in XII, but I couldn’t tell you anything else important about the story of the game. Granted, a lot of the FF

Nintendo is having to fight with a bunch of other companies over components or raw materials (like the screen) that are used throughout the handheld/tablet market right now. So the flucuation from week to week is likely based on how many Nintendo is actually able to produce.
