@Sjenkins7000: I'm pretty sure none of those things you've listed are rights.
@RedRaider: Like this: "Sorry, sweetie, your Daddy didn't adequately plan for the airport transit time, so he didn't make his flight." Simple. He/she might not like it or understand it, but it's the truth.
@Sjenkins7000: Please point out where I said any article "shouldn't be taken seriously."
@badhatharry: Not everyone gets scanned. A great many travelers are still directed through the metal detectors. What's their criteria for selecting who goes where? I put forth that they choose the complacent looking travelers, the ones who won't put up a fight, so the agent has an easier time at it. How does this…
@Jackson the Narcisisst: When she says "a last-minute visit to a lover," she means she's waiting to opt-out so she can get groped. Don't get in her way!
@Blackti3: That's cool. And when the price of the tickets for the non-screened airlines fall because they're not having to support a ~70,000 strong bloated bureaucracy, and the price of your ticket rises to meet the needs of the Thousands Standing Around, and then the effect snowballs because people want cheap and…
@Bishweesh: I don't agree with either you or Rosa with respect to the efficacy of mass opt-outs. Neither the TSA, who has the power to change policies, nor Congress, who has the power to change the TSA, will listen to the people complaining about the Nude-O-Scopes.
Just saw this piece written by Radley Balko. [www.theagitator.com]
@nacatak: Is the TSA sending EVERY single person through the Nude-O-Scope? If not (which they aren't), how are they choosing?
"I'm basically a TSA agent's dream passenger."
"Luckily for them, it was too far away from the other buildings to cause a domino effect."
@Uracil: "Only a Sith deals in absolutes."
@Black Knight Rebel: "What are the requirements to be a TSA officer?"
@BlackandWhite: It's always "a" dildo, never "your" dildo.
Looks like Lifehacker should start using Google Docs, if only for its spell check abilities. :)
Is there an easy way to get the created app on a jailbroken iOS device, or does it force it to go through the app store?
@stevemould001: More or less that's how tax returns work in America. You can choose a standard deduction, where the government provides a figure for your deductions, or you can itemize your deductions. Of course, there are myriad laws, limits, and thresholds you have to meet to itemize.
I don't think Benford's can be used to tell that a tax return is faked. It can be used, however, to tell if some data in a set looks bogus.
