You mean the fanmade "non-profit" project that was trying to get money through someone else's IP is getting sued?

It hasn't gotten WORSE, it has just gotten too homogenous. A lot of anime is drawn and styled almost exactly the same way, such that you can take two screenshots from two series, and as long as the context is similar there is the possibility that people will think they're from the same series.
"We criticize so that in the future we can all get better things collectively."
FUCKING EXCELLENT
I hope you're right. We'll see though.
Not the PS4. Sony.
Sony's been hemorrhaging money lately. I don't think they can survive a full onslaught from MS.
Haha, that's a pretty funny joke post. :P
You're right, their initial 360 build was atrocious and you are rightly suspicious of their hardware manufacturing ability, as I was when my 360s also red ringed and E70'd.
I agree. Some people just have a hate trigger for MS and Bill Gates (??!).
Well, there was some negativity even after that.
I'm not seeing as much negativity about the Xbox One nowadays. Could it be that people are coming around and giving MS the benefit of the doubt?
I judge women the same way I judge men - harshly. That's what they want, after all - equality.
Really? I probably misinterpreted the message of all the people who keep saying this game is sexist, what it promotes, etc. It sounded like they believe the game shouldn't exist at all in its current form.
Thanks for the kind words. I don't hold it against all woman, and I don't think all women are like that, but that (and the direct aftermath where I was ... erm, disowned, by my feminist friends because, as you say, "women cant hurt men" ... another media trope given form in RL I find infinitely exasperating) is one of…
We should be striving for less discrimination. That much I agree on. But striving for less discrimination doesn't mean we should demonize companies for targeting specific audiences, like I said - rather, we should push for greater variety of choices so that people of all walks of life can enjoy something they find…
I agree, but it should be judged case-by-case. Knowing who your audience is and aiming for that demographic is not prejudiced in of itself. Is it sexist when Free! is aimed towards women? Is it racist that Blaxploitation films are aimed at black people? Is it ageist when a cartoon show is aimed at kids? There are lots…
"calling things like this sexist is irrelevant because everything is sexualized and we are sexual creatures and if you think it's sexist, it's your problem."
I read your post just fine, I haven't really read anything that can honestly be presented as an argument. You accuse me of making a false equivalency, but fail to expound on WHY it's a false equivalency. You also keep throwing around the fact that I'm making a strawmen while failing to say WHY it's a strawman. I can't…
