Wow! That’s a much more hardline approach than my doctor’s. I just messaged her to see if anything has changed from her perspective since I last asked in July.
As someone who has long-planned to start trying for Baby #2 in October, and whose family has a long-planned trip to Orlando in October, this is just scaring the bejeesus out of me. I asked my OB what precautions I could take, and they were simply, “Meh, just check the CDC site” which pretty much just says “IDK, we’re…
No, because besides Ted Cruz, she is the only pro-NASA candidate to run this year.
Yeah, I’m really surprised to find out he’s not a Hillary supporter, to be honest.
I think I’m the only one who wasn’t a fan of Swaddlers. The netting used to get stuck on his bits (TMI?) and they just weren’t absorbent enough. We used Baby Dry 24/7 until my son started moving, and then we switched to Cruisers during the day and Overnites while he slept.
Oh, I know that Pampers has them, *supposedly*, but I’ve NEVER seen them at Target, and they’re not available via subscribe and save on Amazon (which is my method of diaper purchasing), so I just settle for the overnites.
Even then, it’s really down to the baby. I so wanted to outfit my very tall and very chubby son in Honest diapers, and Pampers have been the only brand to not be a disaster. (We use Huggies Overnites though because they seem to have a monopoly on the extended wear diaper!)
Sigh. If only I could afford these (aside from the NYX brand).

Really? I grew up in a water polo area and while I didn’t play, all my friends did. So much fun to watch!
A lot of them have come back. I think I had read elsewhere that an athlete’s room and board are only covered when they’re competing, so he may have decided to come back early.
We used a fertility tracker for two months, got impatient, and then got pregnant the old-fashioned way: boning every day until I got a positive test.
Not a single moment of wasted time, I bet.
I was in 8th grade when Titanic came out. By all accounts, I should have been obsessed with Leo considering his other baby-faced contemporaries were my first loves (Devon Sawa in Now and Then AND Little Giants AND Casper? Bestill my teenage heart), but I wasn’t. He just seemed like a little kid.
Different strokes, though! I got a little changing table adapter thingy for my son’s dresser, and at nearly 14 months, we still use it for every changing. He’s a huge kid, so it’s getting tougher, but if I change him on the ground, I wind up with a half-naked kid running away from me.
I wish I had known about the Ikea high chair when I was putting together our registry. Instead, Baby Scarves eats out of a $300 OXO high chair that is beautiful to look at but a bitch to clean, and honestly, who cares if the high chair is good looking or not?
God, I have a stroller addiction. I started out with just a City Mini GT, and then I got really into working out, so of course I had to get a BOB. And then I wanted one that was good for baseball games and other trips where I didn’t care if it got lost so I got a secondhand Maclaren umbrella. And now with #2 on the…
Just like Michael Phelps has the ideal you-couldn’t-build-it-in-a-lab-any-better swimming body, Simone Biles has the perfect body for gymnastics. It’s amazing!
I was going to say the same thing, though I grew up and still live in California, water polo was extremely popular and a fun sport for swimmers to play in the off-season. It seems like it’s mostly a west coast thing.
I don’t disagree that his behavior/methods or “interest in chemistry” might be at play in her success, but I am concerned about at what cost. This is a guy with a known attitude problem, who insists that she train by herself and with him and only him, and they are married? It just sounds very troublesome.
