Well it hit over the weekend for one thing, and for another avclub covered the basics pretty well. So they’re probably either digging deeper or coming up with a thinkpiece on how it fits into broader issues.

While I definitely think the White House attempted to put the doctor’s name to this preliminary statement, I don’t find much value comparing it to the statement he released for President Obama. I’ve seen the documents (though they’re hard to find in the above linked stories) and the detailed numbers and test results

The thing about a lot of economic indicators, is they don’t measure quality. Unemployment down? Great!, we think. Without contemplating whether those jobs are crappy, temporary, or at-will employment with no long term security. Lots of economic activity? Woot! Until you realize big chunks of it are happening in

Now playing

Flying is for the birds, we prefer to SPROING.

Stupid human, do not hide your treats by pretending to be a treat hiding tree, we’re evolved to deal with treat hiding trees! This is like, our job!

Because they’re teaching someone to drive, not teaching them how to drive in some times and some places.

Then whoever taught you to drive failed you.

Becky is having a baby for Andrea, not Andrea having a baby for Becky.

He’s got superior genes, obvs. (sorry bad white nationalist joke, I just woke up)

You made me realize I could have phrased myself better. I’ve got no issues with his receding hairline, apart from the fact that it magnifies his overall skullish area weirdness tenfold. Just ends up being like a mashup between Lurch from the Addams Family and Grandpa Munster.

I was unable to pay attention to what anyone was saying once I noticed how gray Miller is getting at the temples. With that weirdo hairline, they look like he has two reflective triangles stuck to his head.

Meh, you guys lost because you signed Revis and let him on the field.

For its time, the tracks were truly cutting edge, and the vehicle variety succeeded far better than any of the Mario Kart attempts I tried (haven’t had the money to play anything after Wii). Unlocking characters were well done and felt earned, and the depth of mechanics needed to beat some of the record times on

I would not be surprised to learn there are laws about broadcasting identifiable images of a dead person before authorities have a chance to notify next of kin.

Not sure where you got the idea I thought Gruden was anything but awful, but it’s cool you have strong feelings about it.

Well said. Trying to expand/mimic biomes for the more finicky crops like cacao, coffee, or wine is always going to be a juggling act, not a silver bullet.

You won’t be saying that when they announce one or both of the Ryan brothers as replacements.

I went to mine through my local hospital, Central Maine Medical Center. It wasn’t one on one rehab, but small groups meant a lot of personal attention and encouragement. Fully monitored workouts 3 times week, with a class once a week on topics from meds, to nutrition, to meditation and stress management.

As great as

Welcome to northern New England! I’m just a couple states over, and I can really relate when it comes to cold weather asthma/COPD triggers. Last spring I went to a pulmonary rehab program and the stuff I learned made a huge difference. Pursed-lip breathing keeps me from feeling like I might pass out.
