One time, Musk refused to speak to Grimes for the rest of the day after she’d “surprise-attacked him with a flame ball” in Polytopia, Isaacson writes. Another time, he delayed international work meetings because he couldn’t stop playing the game, and then he played it for the entirety of his plane trip home. He…
“Cyberpunk Is A Frequently Tapped Well Of Inspiration For Musk”
It’s so weird whenever I see any notable capitalist say they’re a fan of anything cyberpunk-related. Like, you know the genre is a criticism of you, right? You’re the bad guy. The genre’s raison d’être is to point out how the closest thing to true evil that exists in our world is unimaginably wealthy businessmen who…
What kind of a troglodyte looks at Cyberpunk and thinks “Yeah, that’s the future I want for humanity”?
So in other words, a good thing happened. A publisher failed to make a deal that would have likely generated money for a tyrannical, mass-murdering regime that oppresses the freedoms of countless people... and has a penchant for literally chopping journalists up into pieces and stuffing them into suitcases.
Anyone, individual or corporate, doing business with Saudi Arabia under the current regime should be ashamed of themselves. Complicit with murder, torture and misogyny, KSA represents one of the worst of human societies.

Yo that’s absolutely wonderful news. Fuck the Saudi royal family and the companies taking money from them.
Like, fuck JK Rowling and her stupid racist fantasy world, and especially fuck people who claim to be allies but bought and played this game anyway, but it’s 6 months post-release and this game is a single-player RPG. I don’t think it’s a sign of anything that a lot fewer people are playing it every day.
The Twitter CEO said that if you stay the same, then change is only “incremental.”
I remember when it came out in theaters and my exact words to my friends afterward were “Man that movie was great, but I wish they hadn’t called it Final Fantasy. I think I’d have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t gone in with those expectations.”
That one about it being good that they dropped the turn-based format hit me tbh. I was talking with a friend today (who is an insanely massive fan of 16) and we agreed that it would be great for the next entry in the series to be either turn-based like prior entries or something that was a hybrid of FF Tactics and…
Oh, no, it’s WAY worse than that. Just listen to him:
So once again, blaming your audience rather than blaming what actually is the problem: Poor writing
I can’t use dark mode at all, it messes with my vision too much.
Forcing “dark” mode a week after changing the name of the company to X. Musk truly is the edgiest of 90s edgelords.
X is for the people, by the people.
Now I’m not accusing the writers of being pro-genocide. But its getting to a point where ‘its a warning’ is starting to look like ‘the X-Men exist so writers can commit genocide, but its ok cause we’ll bring them back for the next set of writers to do it all over again’.
