let’s leave it as is please. it’s great as it is. not everything needs a sequel or a multiverse.

100% agree. Wired just sounds better - a $30 pair of wired headphones sound better than a $200 bluetooth set. Plus you can hookup to legacy stereo equipment with an additional interface. How much can it cost, and does a headphone jack screw up the interior workings of a phone that badly?
No headphone jack or SD card slot? Hard pass.
I’m dragging along the limping corpse of my S9+ as long it can go, in hopes that they bring back the microSD slot, and the headphone jack would be a bonus. As we see more streaming services taking down content and recognize that previously purchased material may not always be available (and for times when one may not…
Yes motherfuckers, delay fucking everything since you’ve decided on going all in on being inhuman greedy dicks.
I’m not saying that these posts don’t exist, but I have 3 Mastodon accounts on 3 of the biggest instances, and I haven’t seen a bad post yet.
But that’s kind of the point of the movie - that Ken (and by extension, the modern American man) is put in an untenable position where he’s told by the system that his entire worth as a man rest in his ability to get a woman as his girlfriend. He doesn’t even know what to do with a girlfriend, he just needs to have…
Barbie didn’t do anything to Ken, it wasn’t her fault that he decided to tie his self worth to her approval. Barbie wasn’t even interested in Ken romantically, as she kept telling him throughout the movie.
Exactly. People (most of them much dumber than James Cameron) have a naive idea that Money men care about “quality” and that the “market” will make sure human creativity will always rises to the top.
There’s an update to the story. The city auditor is looking into the tree trimming because it was not sanctioned (the trees are under city control.) The trimming was more severe than it has ever been and the wrong time of year. There is no required permit on file to do it privately and the city itself did not do it.
Anything that the 0.1% will do in order to break the will of all the rest of us 99.9%, they will try. It’s why labor protection in government is so important. It’s why government that is “biased” in favor of the 99.9% is important. Otherwise the 0.1% simply take over as a vicious dictatorship.
They wanted to try something more modern, but didn't have any scripts for some reason.
Studio’s just going straight up 80's movie villain.
Ugh, that really isn’t a selling point. It means the maps will be full of pointless filler and chests to fill the space out. It was that tedium that made me give up on AC: Valhalla.
“Under anti-strike laws in the UK, striking actors could be sued by Warner Bros. or Legendary Television to be forced back on set.”
What a heartbreaking turn of events.
That said, I’m convinced that people who see that dress as White and Gold are unable to color-correct a low-res image in their mind. That or a form of undiagnosed colorblindness.
And Macron leans even harder into authoritarianism.
Disney executive #1: “Here’s this $50 million, straight-to-streaming kids movie about astronauts. It releases on Disney+ in a couple of months.”
As if we needed further proof that US tax codes (especially *corporate* tax codes) was a warped and counterproductive clusterf***. As intended by those who want all the benefits of society but don’t want to pay for any of it, especially not their fair share of the burden their lifestyles puts on society.
This tactic should be on the table in the writers strike, if it isn’t already. All creative should insist on contracts that protect their works — at the very minimum, prevent them from going into a vault, never to be seen again, all for the sake of a write-off.
