As a long-time fan of the series who loved Black Flag, skipped Unity, and was thoroughly disappointed by Syndicate, this game is going to have to go a long way to avoid feeling like a stale retread. A lot of the animations in these clips still look very canned and too reminiscent of the older games in the series.

And if I recall correctly, a handful of the late game dungeons had the walk-through-walls secrets, too. Cracks weren’t a thing until Links Awakening and Link to the Past though.

In the original Zelda, none of the bombable walls had cracks in the first quest, either.

Those screenshots though.

Finally! A fidget spinner without the danger of it getting stuck in my anus!

I’d say it’s a while lot less a race issue than a “do western powers have vested financial interests in that part of the world” issue.

They haven’t “done well.” They inherited an assload of wealth in a country whose entire financial system is explicitly designed to make people who are already rich obscenely richer.

Photo mode is the e-sports of video game features.

Let us know when it hits $19.99 and then we’ll talk.

The title of this article should have been “Norm MacDonald comedy special coming to Netflix in May.”

No, they were Lucasarts’ doing. Telltale only did the most recent sequel, Tales from Monkey Island (which overall is a more consistent package than the hit or miss quality of the Lucasarts remasters.) Definitely Telltale’s best of its more traditional adventure game offerings.

Prices wouldn’t be that high if idiots weren’t willing to pay it. People get what they deserve.

I’m as liberal as they come, but it’s absolutely true that proper training and familiarization with guns is far more effective at teaching kids to respect them than blanket statements about their danger. Being a Boy Scout brought me into close contact with guns at a fairly young age (4th grade or so,) and we were

Admittedly, they were fairly absurdist examples (exaggerating to make a point,) but I generally agree with you. There is also an irony in the fact that a truly capitalistic approach to this issue would be to say that of course the city has the right to change it up to and including to the point of altering its

I see the irony here, but there’s a big difference between another artist placing the girl as a piece of guerrilla art and the CITY placing it there. It’s not really as direct a double standard as you’re making it out to be. You’re essentially suggesting that this artist should just suck it up and allow the

Dark Souls chameleon/white branch mode.

The word is “idealism” and it has been done since the origins of art. The game does look damn nice though.

I see your point, but you don’t acknowledge the fact that videogames are inherently different from films. As much as we who love videogames like to think of them as art (an identification I happily support,) it’s important not to forget that a lot of video games are ALSO displays of the most current gaming technology

Fair point. :)

I bought Lego Marvel Superheroes to try out with my 5 year old daughter. Verdict was that she liked the game, but by far her favorite part was just running and flying around the open New York City map. Any of the story missions were just too complicated in terms of character switching and puzzle interactions for her
