That is literally the most insulting thing on the planet, and I get absolutely enraged when someone says to "calm down" or "not get so worked up" over rape allegations and rape culture.

No, it was actually really good. :) I've been in denial for the past 5 years about what really happened, making excuses for the dude, saying I was "really" raped, it was "just date rape," but that article really jolted me into being certain, and that's helped me tremendously. :)

Thank you. I've been doing really well in therapy for the eating disorder, but it wasn't until recently that I came to terms with the fact that I was actually raped (it was actually due to that interview that Jez did with that rape survivor), so I'm back in therapy now to work that out.
