Mostly about how she’s a hot 19 year old and he’s a millionaire.

let along the grown ass men don’t date teenagers rule.

Investment advice, retirement, traveling, unicorns, prostate health, lip gloss, universal healthcare, my aching back, Korean boy bands, bowel movements, and contouring. You know, normal stuff

Reckon so: A couple of websites pegs his net worth at $30MM...so, good for him...

To be clear: We are not just talking about a bit older here, and most states have laws for “Romeo and Juliet” cases - where one of the parties is 19 and the other 17, or similar age differences. We are talking about a case where your father is old enough to be your mother’s father. And she was below the age of consent

17 and 37. 17 and 37.  😒

Age disparities are totally okay except when one of the ages involved is a teen. Thats when things get a little wonky.

I generally....don’t. I mean, my work colleague is my age (mid-30s) with a husband in his 50's; they met in her mid-to-late twenties I believe. But this one skeeves me out. Because he met her when she was barely legal or maybe even before. Because she still looks like a child, specifically HIS child. Also when you’re

. Have laughs together.

Maybe he regales her with tales of the pre-smartphone era.  It was hard to reach people!  Waiting rooms were boring!

I’d have far less to say if one party involved wasn’t barely 18 when the relationship began. But yes, they seem happy.

I just want to know what a 19-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man talk about.

I’m still disappointed that they did Alice in Wonderland with a grown up Alice rather than doing a straight adaptation. I’ve always wanted someone to do a big budget live action version of Alice in Wonderland (it’s kind of amazing to me that the only adaptations we’ve got from the last 50 years are TV movies), and I

I’m still excited for this but I hear you on the music. The “I’ll Make a Man Out if You” is my favorite Disney musically montage of all time. I get ready every single time Milan makes it to the arrow at the top of the pole.

Really? Beauty and the Beast just made 1.2 billion dollars last year. What other explanation do you need? Remaking their classics let’s them make big money off old IP. Anyone should be able to see the appeal to that even if they personally wish Disney would leave their old work alone.

Plus the whole “witch” thing is stupid. One of the things I liked most about Mulan was the lack of the traditional “supernatural villain” character. Mulan’s opponent was very real and very dangerous. That’s what made her triumph awesome.

I prefer subtitles BUT I’m also far less likely to get around to watching something if it’s subtitled.  It’s pretty rare for me to sit and give a movie 100% of my attention if I watch it at home and for obvious reasons subtitles movies aren’t something you can put on to watch while you do something else.

another mom here who has always been uncomfortable with public nudity, and who nevertheless ended up pulling a boob or two out in many, many situations that I never anticipated would involve flashing people.
