Hot take incoming: This 4.0 doesn’t sound all that great. Granted I’ve only heard it on videos and not in person, so that opinion is subject to change, but every review I’ve seen hasn’t left me impressed. It makes a decent sound under throttle, but on overrun just make a nasty whining thrashing sound, almost like they

I drive a company truck and it’s company policy that I am to park my truck in a manner that allows me to pull forward out of a parking spot whenever possible, so I’m kinda locked into doing this often.

Absolutely. If I’m wearing flip flops they get kicked off every time I drive.

Because companies have to “disrupt” something to be relevant, apparently.

The job of any comedian is to be funny; if they make people laugh, they have done their job. If you don’t like their brand of comedy, it’s not meant for you. Move on and find something you do like. Not everything and everyone has to be woke-culture-appropriate and I absolutely detest this narrative of vilifying anyone

In all honesty I think a lot of the uptick in streams could be from people wondering “who the fuck is this guy?” when they see a name in the news. By and large I think modern mainstream hip hop and rap is utter garbage, so I don’t follow along with pop culture there at all. But if I see somebody or another died or was

I don’t know what to think about the car, as it exists in kind of a weird space. It’s sort of a race car for the road, but it’s not actually all that fast, being slower around a track than many contemporaries, even less expensive ones. Yet it also isn’t a good road car, being very loud, stiff, cramped, and short on

*Group A

Even if they had the most robust drivetrain on Earth, they’d still be bought as investments and rarely driven.

I am pretty angry actually. Jalopnik has been the first website I visit when I open any web browser and has been so for a long time, but the quality of journalism has been on the decline for years, and it’s gotten to the point I don’t even know why I come here some days. I think it’s really just Kinja comments that

There’s so many it would be hard to know where to start.

Yes FWD is a detriment to acceleration. Generally if you’re comparing a FWD car to an AWD one you can knock a second off the 0-60 time for a good comparison, or maybe 7 or 8 tenths when compared to a RWD. So if this had AWD like my R it would beat it off the line, and as it stands almost certainly will be faster on

The back seat is the same. It’s just typical Jalopnik-quality journalism these days.

Agreed. I’m also 6' tall and about 210lbs here. I’ve sat in the back seat of my parents’ Hellcat a few times and was plenty comfortable, even behind my equal height father. Typical Jalopnik “journalism”.

You're forgetting a certain German monster that won in 1979.

Oh come now, at least we get this instead of the new Fiesta and Focus STs.

Honestly even the Challenger is big enough for a family if you don’t mind the hassle of strapping kids in with no rear doors. I’m 6' 210lbs and I’ve sat in the back seat of a Challenger behind an equal size front passenger on more than one occasion and been comfortable. The trunk is probably bigger than the cargo area

Yes PETTER won in 03, and it’s been nothing but Sebs since then, which means this is the first time since 03 someone not named Sebastien has won.

This...actually makes sense?

I hope you’re kidding about the eye makeup on the headlights. It’s very obviously just camo for the headlight design on the prototypes.
