The Xbox One controller went through something like $100 million in development to incorporate ergonomic improvements and specific rumble in different locations (for example, the triggers). No one really cared, no one really noticed.

  • Xbox Live was better for online multiplayer and downloads.

My thoughts exactly. Controllers aren’t exactly known for lasting the life of a console...I’m skeptical that adding more high-cycle moving parts is going to help that situation.

The Series S and X are architecturally similar. It does not require separate development paths to support both, more than anything it’s adjusting performance sliders.

Cool article for the 12 people who got one.

Me: “Every Super Nintendo Instruction Manual isn’t already on the internet?”

Anything with a power cap of 1060 is garbage in Beyond Light (unless you have some sentimental value for them). I thought Bungie made that pretty clear.

There is a lore supplement book shipping with the Collector’s Edition of Beyond Light, it goes into exactly what Deep Stone Crypt is and how the Vex represented the “breakthrough” in cracking consciousness uploads to Exo frames. Very interesting stuff.

This. I want a PS5 but I have no interest in this monstrosity. Xbox brings me more value at launch.

We need to address the elephant in the room.

Clovis Bray used the Vex to develop Exo technology. We are going into a lot of Vex lore on Europa.

It should just all be Abstergo Office Space and have no historical shit. For lulz.

3. Getting hit by a car.

But Control is good.

What a spectacular indictment of this horrible endless advertisement of a game.

Oh, I see. Only after they nominated and elected LITERALLY THE WORST HUMAN ON EARTH did she change her mind. High bar.

Your statement is true, however in almost every case today if you play the unpatched version from the disc you are getting a buggy or even incomplete experience. Makes you appreciate the level of QA that went into games pre-internet.

I don’t get why “fit on a disc” even matters anymore when you always need a 20 GB day one patch. The disc is pretty much just a physical key to unlock the digital version now.
