I’ve had every iteration of the Xbox from the beginning and I’ve NEVER heard of “significant drifting issues.” Over the years I’ve probably had 20 Xbox controllers (to use on consoles and PC) and I can’t recall a single one failing.

If they followed the traditional X-Wing/TIE Fighter game philosophy, the Rebel fighters are slower and have better weapons/shields while the Imperial fighters are much faster but have worse/no shields. It always felt balanced to me.

Another thought is how there’s no apparent way to password-protect a profile, only the individual games and apps. There is nothing preventing my kids from selecting my profile whenever they want.

As another commenter here mentioned, it is terrible for parents who actually want to use the Switch. It’s just this weird “all or nothing” approach that has no flexibility.

Yup, my strategy is Xbox Series S at launch, PS5 Slim when it comes out. There will need to be some compelling exclusives I can’t get on PC for me to get a Series X.
