I find it super interesting how nearly every article about Stadia from Kotaku has had a negative slant and headline. Everyone entitled to be skeptical, but how about we let the technology speak for itself?

That season just goes bat-shit insane near the end. I'm kind of excited for your opportunity to binge it! That's a weird thing to be excited about for a stranger, though...
I JUST REALIZED THAT I NEVER FINISHED LAST SEASON?!
The dude is a bad and awkward date, not an abuser.
Despite what all the yahoos on here will say, the woman from the Ansari story was not raped or sexually assaulted. She admitted up front that everything was consensual and that he did ultimately stop when she asked him to. However, the bigger issue that piece hit on was that A). there’s clearly a huge grey area between…
Yes, but blogs still spinned it like he’s a rapist or harasser or some shit for clicks and the dumb people that read these blogs now think he’s a rapist. These blogs don’t care about these movements, they’re only interesting in exploiting them for profit even if it damages the movements and their credibility. Sadly…
Why shouldn’t he?
Didn’t the girl who accused him get called out for just describing what most would consider a shitty date and that all contact was consensual?
How is one fantasy and one isn’t? They’re both period-piece fictions. One is not any more realistic or unrealistic than the other (as in, they all follow the rules of our universe). Sure, one is a bit more epic in scale but that’s only due to the time period in which it takes place.
I’m all for waiting until a game is ready before releasing it. I mean, Diablo II and III had a 12 year gap and it still wasn’t perfect. They can take all the time they want with 4 if it means getting a better game.
You do realize it was fiction right? They weren’t trying to tell a story about IBM or Apple... they were trying to tell a story about these fictional people in an amalgamated fictional company.
That has to be a joke — I was there too (using computers since 1980 when I was in 5th grade).
Agreed. It kind of sets them apart. They aren’t winners. I kind of feel like Firefly borrowed from Bebop in that respect, and in some others as well. So long, space cowboy!
I can not believe that singer is still getting work in Hollywood. All it takes is for one (more) person to come forward and the studio will be forced to give him the axe and derail the whole picture. How does that make sense from a risk/reward point of view?
At least Singer isn’t getting confirmed for a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court.
when the dust settles, this comes out as an unconventional, yet effective way to avoid a conversation with jimmy fallon.
too late. It’s already been twisted for narratives. The statement is more machine than man now.
“First, it was some jarringly tone-deaf statements about how the victims of sexual harassment and racism don’t have it as bad as the comics who had to publicly account for their appalling behavior”
Can I go back to liking him again? It’s been quite the roller coaster.
Tomorrow: “Sorry about those Down Syndrome comments, folks. I must have been on my period.”
