I find it super interesting how nearly every article about Stadia from Kotaku has had a negative slant and headline. Everyone entitled to be skeptical, but how about we let the technology speak for itself?

How is one fantasy and one isn’t? They’re both period-piece fictions. One is not any more realistic or unrealistic than the other (as in, they all follow the rules of our universe). Sure, one is a bit more epic in scale but that’s only due to the time period in which it takes place.
I’m all for waiting until a game is ready before releasing it. I mean, Diablo II and III had a 12 year gap and it still wasn’t perfect. They can take all the time they want with 4 if it means getting a better game.
You do realize it was fiction right? They weren’t trying to tell a story about IBM or Apple... they were trying to tell a story about these fictional people in an amalgamated fictional company.
Agreed. It kind of sets them apart. They aren’t winners. I kind of feel like Firefly borrowed from Bebop in that respect, and in some others as well. So long, space cowboy!
I can not believe that singer is still getting work in Hollywood. All it takes is for one (more) person to come forward and the studio will be forced to give him the axe and derail the whole picture. How does that make sense from a risk/reward point of view?
That’s really the silver lining in all this for norm.
I mean people see he’s doing a bit right? He’s baiting more outrage with purposefully inappropriate apologies. It’s actually kind of genius.
I’ll echo your thoughts on the Dreamcast (And Skies of Arcadia). I played it during the formative years in my life and it’s memorable. Skies, Power Stone, Marvel v Capcom, Grandia II, Sonic, Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur, Metropolis Street Racer and NFL 2k were some of my favourites. Thanks for all the memories SEGA!
If Ann Dowd doesn’t win something I’ll flip my shit. She’s just too good.
and I’ll be free to point out their issues.
I was so happy to see Ethan Phillips in this episode. He was so good as the judge too.
1. Telling people to discuss common sense solutions and also telling them to shut up is very contradictory.
This is your message to your fellow Americans? If you don’t enjoy the monthly mass-murders, leave the country?
So... other places are worse, so we shouldn’t aim to be better? What kind of thinking is that?
Except there aren’t any borders between Chicago and the rest of Illinois, or the rest of the 47 states that surrounds Illinois for that matter. A city wide ban is a step in the right direction... but is ultimately useless in keeping out guns.
Great, now can we please get a remaster of Skies of Arcadia? Please?
Agreed, it was pretty weak overall. The writing needed a LOT of work.
Tonally, they are very different... but I do think that Agents is better overall. Agents tends to lean into the cheese, and embrace it... whereas the netflix shows want to shy away from it... but end up having to go there anyway and it seems dijointed.
Agents of SHIELD started really working when they finally realized the cavalry wasn’t coming. Nick Fury was done poking his head around and the Avengers had bigger fish to fry.
