Didn't answer because none of the answers apply to me. Yes, I would like to buy a 4S but I won't be because my carrier (rogers in canada) isn't providing and decent upgrade options (even though I'm still using the iPhone 3g I bought from them)- so it would end up costing me an arm and a leg.

I actually use an called "HippoRemote" for my iPad which has a custom XBMC template that has all the commands built in.

I had one of these but ended up opting for a HTPC option. The WD TV Live isn't bad, but my $100 motherboard and $40 Broadcom media card stream high resolution files way better without lag and the XBMC interface is way more attractive than the WDTV.

My first Apple was a 13" titanium MacBook. Served me well, then moved on to a 17" iMac (plastic one) then I bough my iPad, then upgraded to the most recent iMac.

Not bad, though I would hope it's a given that I already use a tripod- that or my monopod.

What I would prefer to see is how to do the above on a budget. $2500, $1500, $2900, $800... ouch
