This is so true. I literally exercise for a living (sports medicine/ballet teacher) and I have never smoked, drank alcohol, or done any drug, including marijuana. I haven't eaten sugar in years.

Singular = awesome.
Yup. Guilty as charged. Disappointed that none looked precisely like mine, but then again, mine is particular.
When I started to teach very little kids, I discovered that sticking an "er" in the middle of a sentence was enough to confuse them or make them forget what I'd said. I got in the habit of not using filler words, but I now speak at a VERY slow pace compared to other people my age. I would estimate that I speak at…
OMG COOLIE NAMES!!!! I love you for this. I'm not going to say what it was, but I had one of the most easily recognizable Coolie names before I got married. When I talk to people from Bihar about the names in my family, they laugh so hard, you need to be ready to give CPR.
I was just going to add that — Supersad is one of those mushed-up Indian surnames that you find in Trinidad and Tobago all of the time.
That could be; it's still insanely expensive for a bunny. Other than the baby that was too young to be spayed yet, I've gotten all of my rabbits pre-fixed, and none for that sort of price. I love long-furred bunnies, especially lionheads! They are meltingly cute.
$180?!?? I have adopted rabbits from shelters, from rescue groups, and I've even bought a prize winning baby from a breeder and I've never spent more than $50. Where do you live?
So true — rabbits all have such different personalities. I have one rabbit that doesn't like being held, either, and we had a genuinely mean little rabbit for a while. She was very smart, but really hated people. It's hit or miss.
I think bunnies are wonderful pets for grown people! Just little kids, I think are better off with the sweet little guinea pigs, like your childhood buddies. Having a bonded pair of rabbits is wonderful, and for adults, they are great pets. Don't be too disheartened!
I've had bunnies on and off my whole life, and I have three bunnies, two old fellers and a teen, right now. Bunny nails and teeth are insanely sharp. Bunny claws don't have the hook-like quality that kitten claws have, but when bunnies kick because they are afraid, they can do major damage. Also, bunnies just bite…
I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I have to:
I have bunnies. I LOVE bunnies, but bunnies aren't really the best pet for a little kid because they have really sharp teeth and claws and get scared easily.
I hope you DO have an occasion to meet Stephen Fry. He is a genuinely wonderful person to be around and easy to approach. Look for book signings and public talks. He is one of the busiest people ever, which means that you'll have many chances to meet him.
That's actually one thing I really like about NYC, which is that if we notice a famous person, we usually do not bug them. It usually goes something like, "That's Alec Baldwin, right? Don't bother him, don't bother him!" I LOVE Amy Sedaris! That's a sighting I'm sad I haven't had yet.
He smelled like tobacco, yes, but also like white flowers.
Oh, I know that I'm in an unnatural environment here. It is actually not cool at all to see famous people in NYC. It is MUCH cooler to have regular interactions with a famous couple in a small city — in your own store! What do they like to buy?
YES I DID. And you should be jealous, it was magical. I had been really sad the whole day, but getting a hug from Stephen Fry was like having a maximum strength happiness injection.
Paris considered attending Barnard back in 2000. We were at a prospective students' brunch. We sat at the same table and had a lot of fun chatting and telling funny dad stories. She did not attend. To be honest, I was rather disappointed not to see her at orientation.
I think it was after the Sesame Street short. I have no recollection of the event, to be perfectly honest. The story I was told involved me refusing to sit still and circling the piano at top speed.
