NOOOO! My mom just passed by and started humming the Snowman music (My brother's fave when he was little, and possessed by demons). I pretty much had a seizure. Also, I had successfully blocked Return to Oz from memory twice. Now the nightmares will begin again. #scarymovies

Some of these photos are absolutely gorgeous... in a "gouging my eyeballs out with a rusty spoon yet I can never unsee that" kind of way... #halloween

@Valois: Frogs! I haven't seen that movie in ages. I never saw the first one either. Didn't strike me as particularly scary, but I do remember it being pretty awesome and WTF inducing. #scarymovies

@pmarble: You are right I think. Not a cavalier king charles spaniel. Definitely could be a chihuahua. Or you know what? Maybe it's a mixed breed. Who knows. #dogplay

@Ratinski: When I had my super short pixie, styling it was easy, and it looked super cute. When it was super long, styling it was easy, and it looked gorgeous. Its the in between that sucks. When it was past the top of my ears, but not yet chin length, there was nothing I could do that would make it look feminine,

@morninggloria: I cried when I went from mid-back ringlets to a super-short pixie, and my two year old cousin took one look at me and started screaming, "you're a boy, you're a boy!" then rubber her brother's short hair for emphasis. #vidalsassoon

I used to have very short hair, styled the way Aygness Deyn used to have it. I come home from the haircut, feeling great, and my brother says, "You know, some people would call that a lesbian haircut." Thanks little bro! That really makes a teenage girl with acne and glasses feel great about herself! #vidalsassoon

@pmarble: I work with dogs for a living, and I don't think I could pick a favorite breed, but cavaliers are definitely cute. Really it's hard to tell the breed of the little dog from the picture. Are his ears always up, or is it just that it is an action shot? What do his lips look like when his mouth is closed?

@eclare09: My guess would be a cavalier king charles. Definitely not a chihuahua. #dogplay

@rileycal: Not to mention, Dawn tests its product on animals. Save the otters... blind the bunnies? Note: my beef is with animal testing for non-medical purposes. This is soap. #openthread

@UGAdawg: I'm 21, in college, and working part time. The dogs are staying, getting rid of them is absolutely not an option, my dad is just being over-dramatic about that. I am a crazy animal lover, and would do just about anything for my dogs. #openthread

@UGAdawg: Well, my dad is an interior painter, so I'll have something cool going on in my room for sure. I'm not so much bummed about the move itself, it's more that it's one more chapter of my life that is closing. I have a lot to look forward to, but letting all the old stuff go is hard too. #openthread

@twirlywhirly: Exactly. I know I'm an adult, and I should be able to deal with this without getting all worked up, but I'm sad dammit! This is my home. #openthread

@UGAdawg: Thanks for caring though. My mom has a super positive attitude about the whole thing, which is a little grating when I want to feel sad for a little, and my dad is in an ultra-depressed/I'm a failure as a person/we'll have to get rid of the dogs kind of mood, which is also a buzzkill. #openthread

@UGAdawg: Just within the city, so I don't have to deal with that kind of change. In many ways, I can see how this is a good thing, and it's not like I was going to be living here much longer anyway, I'm just feeling mopey about my whole life, and moving is simply one more thing I'd rather not have to do right now. #

Ugh. So I still live with my parents, which works out pretty well. Except now we have to sell our house. It's not the end of the world, everybody is healthy, etc, but it still sucks. Moving is always completely traumatic for me, and it makes me really sad to think that I'll never get to see another spring in my

With my impossibly poor computer skills, I'll probably never find out how all the hashtag stuff works, so I hope the weekend open threads stay, so I can at least feel like one of the "cool kids" by reading all of the threads. Otherwise.... I don't know how to read any of the threads. #groupthink

Reasons I buy things:

@andromache: As a fellow bookaholic all I can suggest is to go to used book sales. You get the same satisfaction of getting a huge stack of books, but without having to sacrifice eating for the week.
