They wrote a thing, and put out some screenshots. Considering Mizuguchi’s past work, I suspect the trailer actually captured the vibe of playing the game really well.

This sounds like an Alpha Protocol-era Obsidian game.

If you want singleplayer RPGs, why aren’t you into the idea of Odyssey? Like, I’m more excited about it than I ever have been for an Assassin’s Creed game before, precisely because it sounds like they’re basically just making a Witcher-style RPG—or, at least, something approaching that.

On the one hand, I get what you’re saying. On the other...

I’m hoping that ‘you’ll be able to play as a male or female protagonist’ means, like, a Mass Effect-style pick one and go, rather than Syndicate’s system. Probably wishful thinking, but if they’re finally adding a dialogue system...

what

Any word on if it’ll be possible to play it offline/in single-player? I’m guessing not, but I’m not familiar with Rust/DayZ, so I don’t really have a basis for comparison.

Will we be hearing about that something else any time soon?

I feel pretty much exactly the same as Maddy. Before Other M, I was actually kind of into the idea of a game that really fleshed out Samus’ characterisation, gave her a voice and so on... But I’m now absolutely convinced that they’ll simply never be able to do justice to the version of her who’s been living in my head

I saw it as more of an opportunistic, ‘Qi’ra kills Vos for Qi’ra, to take his place in the Crimson Sun hierarchy’ than a, ‘Qi’ra kills Vos for Maul’ situation, but considering how her character was treated more generally throughout the movie... Yeah, your read is probably better supported.

And Chopper plus the Ghost showed up in a couple of scenes.

I’ve been angry about this since it happened, and there’s so far been no indication that feeling will wane.

I don’t think fixed-gun lightgun games are new - I’ve been seeing them in arcades for, well, as long as I can remember really - but I certainly agree that the tethered gun versions are better. And heck, I really don’t get why they’d take this route with a Halo adaptation—Halo has several iconic gun designs that

This ad’s made me want a chill, Yuru Camp-esque show about just driving around in a kei van - or maybe an old VW Bus - seeing different places, and having adventures.

Try him on amaretto - ideally Disaronno - and coke. It’s honestly more like Dr Pepper than Dr Pepper is now that they’ve changed the recipe over here in the UK. Works with coke zero too, if you’re looking for something moderately less sugary.

Yeah, I genuinely miss these. Never gave a toss about the game, but they were great little figures—good quality, nice art style, perfect for collecting.

Which class were you playing? I don’t think any of my Cipher’s abilities had cooldown timers.

There are definitely romances in PoE2, though I’ve no idea if they’re any good or not since I haven’t even started it yet.
