I’m generally not one to defend Star Citizen*, but it isn’t actually that bad. For one thing, it’s isn’t subscription-based* - you just buy a copy and then play, like any other game - and for another, you apparently won’t be able to buy ships once the game’s actually live, though there will be some kind of -

Yeah, I barely use VATS. It’s kind of a bummer, since you can’t get proper critical hits outside of VATS with the new system, and I’ve historically been the sort of dude to go all in on critical hits, but it’s still a perfectly functional way to play the game.

Man, I’d love an explosive minigun. It’d be like Spray ‘n’ Pray, but even more badass.

I tend not to go out-and-out evil in these games, but what’s wrong with haggling over the price of a job? If I’m gonna wade into some Mirelurk-infested cesspool I want decent compensation.

Ah, yes, the Alpha Protocol path to godhood. Just go all in on pistol skills and stealth, and you’ll be headshotting bosses to death before they can so much as monologue.

Yeah, she’ll start up a conversation. You’ll need to still have her as your companion, though.

I know of no other video game storyteller who could make ‘being generally decent’ feel as morally dubious as it did in KotOR II.

That’s beautiful. Chris Avellone is a hero.

Yeah, you’ll need to get her approval up. She likes you being generally nice and helpful to people, and almost anything to do with SCIENCE!

As a student who has a PC as his primary gaming platform, I can’t say I agree. The thing about PC gaming is that the set-up cost is indeed higher than just buying a console - though I’d say, for a decent rig, you’re looking at more £550 to £600 than £700+ - but the games themselves tend to be so, so much cheaper -

Nope! I’ve been playing GTA V on console since it first came out - had it on 360, originally - and I played pretty much every other GTA on console first, before I got the PC version, mainly because they used to take ages to come to PC before IV. I know exactly what I’m talking about when I say that I very much prefer

“trust me when I say that doesn’t work with mouse and keyboard. you have significantly less control over your car without analog controls.”

but nearly all of the Xbox One exclusives are on PC, so why bother having an Xbox? atleast Playstation has exclusives that are never coming to PC.

You use it to play with Xbox-owning friends/you really like Halo and Forza?

I’m similar, except my main ‘you gotta die right now’ gun is a double shot plasma sniper I’ve named, ‘Double Bubble’. It’s fun, but not as fun as mowing down legions of everything with Spray ‘n’ Pray.

I was doing just that earlier today, and it occurred to me for the first time that there’s no way my X-01’s gauntlet fingers should even be able to fit through Deliverance’s trigger guard.

They actually used to do quite a lot of design work for Peugeot, with - to my eye, anyway - some fairly spectacular results.

How’s it been, getting used to the increased size? My old Nexus 5’s about the same size as your Z3, so the difference should be about the same.

“you’ll miss out on built-in camera gestures”

Now, I don’t know if your issue is carrier-related - in which case, this won’t help - but sideloading OTAs is easy, and doesn’t require rooting or wiping your phone. I kinda swore off custom ROMs on my primary device after I went through a pretty experimental phase with my old Galaxy Nexus - it was fun to mess around,
