I’m excited, of course, but I had been kinda hoping they’d go with a band this time around, rather than another set of idols. I loved Fire Bomber.

Hey now, Fire Bomber actually had a fairly wide range of songs—probably more than, say, Cheryl and Ranka managed between themselves in Frontier. My favourite’s either Try Again or Submarine Street.

Always been more of an SP man, myself.

Well, if you think about it, the very best lightsaber crystals are the sort that you have to attune to yourself - like that one you get from the cave in KotOR 2 - using the force. Maybe the neural augmentor is included as an artificial means of achieving a similar effect?

I think VW might’ve used it first, but it’s not owned by any one company. These days, the only two companies that use it regularly are Peugeot and VW, but in the past there have been Nissan GTis, SEAT GTis, Mitsubishi GTis and so on.

As the current owner of a small French car that's managed to resolutely defy the stereotype, I disagree.

The Fiesta’s been the best-selling car where I live for, I think, three years on the trot at this point. At this point, whenever people ask, I either recommend that or, if they need a bit more space, a C4 Cactus.

I just find time travel stories of this sort remarkably limiting, as they always only leave room for only one proper solution: never time travel in the first place. Stories that deal with ‘destructive’ time travel can take you on an interesting journey, but the destination is always predefined, or at least limited to

The tornado wasn’t caused by Max reversing time to save Chloe, exactly—it was caused by her using her time travel powers in any capacity at all. She couldn’t save anyone else with them, either; if she’d let Chloe die, but then reversed time to prevent Alyssa getting hit by a ball, the storm would’ve still happened.

Hey, man, I’m in the same boat on Fallout - big dumb hunk of plastic coming my way on November 10th - but you have to remember - and I realise this is difficult - that Fallout 4 will eventually end. Eventually. Or, at least, you’ll finish up your first playthrough and take a breather before starting a new character.

Actually, yes! The game has built-in support for custom soundtracks.

This sort of thing is precisely why I’m experiencing some degree of trepidation regarding Halo 5, even though I really enjoyed the Beta and my brief time with it at Gamescom. The idea that people will be able to buy REQ packs, and gain a competitive advantage over other players, is deeply off-putting—particularly as

My advice is just cut out the prequels and watch the original trilogy. The prequels really aren’t worth the fuss of following a specific order or anything.

Well, I’ve only seen one significant instance of it in the trailers so far. Frankly, the fact that we actually got to see part of Finn and Ren’s lightsaber fight, with nary a lens flare in sight, leads me to believe we’ll probably do okay.

Don’t forget about Pillars of Eternity, Divinity and The Banner Saga! Oh, and I know it’s been mentioned already, but FTL remains the best two quid I’ve ever spent on anything.

I have, on occasion, gotten a little overexcited and yelled, ‘You may call me EMPEROR JOSH’ into the mic.

I know of another game that did the Emperor thing preeeeetty well.

I thought this blog was dedicated to the love, not the proliferation, of the automobile, and driving in general? You can absolutely love cars, driving, and automotive culture, and still think that removing cars from packed city centres and investing in public transport infrastructure is a good idea.
