The added aesthetic appeal of a round watch is more important than a centimetre or two’s worth of extra useful screen real estate for an extremely large number of people. This is not a difficult concept to grasp.

Honestly, when it comes to getting caught up with the story - specifically the bits that are relevant to the plot of the Witcher 3 - you’d probably be better off reading the books than playing either of the earlier games. (Though I’d personally recommend skipping to 2, ‘cause it’s great.)

It’s such an incredibly cool concept, I’m amazed it hasn’t popped up again already.

I’m hoping for a Non-Savage Deathclaw who wears a cool cloak.

We live in a world where people text, browse the Internet, and even write Gawker comments on the loo with their smartphones. The Vita’s really the least of it.

Hey, he can diss the Xbox One all he wants - I’ve never liked mine - but no one throws shade at my man Geralt of Rivia like that! Look at these Gwent cards!

“because we now live in a world where a Ford Focus has the same amount of power as a fifth-generation Corvette.”

I should probably give it a little more time at some point. Me and a friend played a few matches yesterday, and while we liked it well enough - the sound design is particularly fantastic - it just didn’t grab us. We ended up playing Halo after about seven games.

Where I live, there’s already mince pies and Christmas snack collections for sale in the supermarket. It’s absurd.

Going from Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture to working with the Poet Laureate is, well, actually surprisingly appropriate, I think.

No, I mean Cactus. The only throwback design element on the 208 is the - admittedly nifty - C-pillar badging.

Bit of a weird one, but I quite like the way the Citroen C4 Cactus’ bum seems to harken back to the old Peugeot 205.

Eh, if I’m gonna do it, I’m getting Skylake. I don’t like upgrading my PC often, so when I do it, I get stuff that’s gonna last a good amount of time. My 2500k’s been chugging along for four years.

My GPU’s fine, but as seems to be happening with some regularity these days, my old i5-2500k only barely makes the cut. Ah well, it doesn’t seem to have bottlenecked me significantly yet.

I did the dumb thing and bought a Pip-Boy, but ditto on the GreenManGaming sentiments. Since their deals are almost always not region-specific, I actually get to take advantage, which pretty much never happens with the stuff Kinja Deals posts.

You’re approved on a per-blog basis. An unfortunate consequence of this is that you’ll probably be greyed out on all the smaller subblogs, which is a fairly significant issue with the amount of subblog articles that get posted to the various main site front pages these days.

I’m vetoing God Save The Queen in favour of Rule, Britannia! It’s just the better song.

It’s about time Bethesda decided to actually release something in November. It’s a terribly neglected month for them.
