Uh, I'm pretty sure they mentioned that the headphones are soundproofed. And they use the LoL spectator mode to view the matches, which is always 3 minutes behind. The "why not over lan" question is still one for the ages, though :P

sure, and I'd agree that a multiplat release would be best. But, as it stands, the game wouldn't be being released at ALL if nintendo wasn't funding it, so it's a moot point

But the thing is... if it wasn't coming out on Wii U (and for whatever reason was still coming out), it would probably be coming out on the next gen systems anyway, so they'd still have to buy a new console (that's entirely speculation, of course, but it doesn't seem very far into its life cycle)
