THIS IS CLEARLY A WIG. Right? Right?!

My 4 yo daughter is sitting next to me, and when the top image popped up, she giggled and whispered, "Haha, her tongue!"

I had heard about her big trial (and how long it was!), but I never knew what it was about. Then, while watching a commercial for the film, she said, "Your Uncle Rick wants to take me to see that and compare my notes to it." I asked why (of course!) and she told me, in the most banal way, that she was on the jury for

True story:
My Grandmom was on the jury for that trial.

As someone with clear eyebrows, this is my saviour:

I was explaining to my 17 year old sister that there once was a time when I would travel around without a phone. And internet on said phone. And games. And instant access to my email. And I wasn't constantly updated on my friends' lives and happenings.

Also, Idris Elba has an assistant to do all that stuff for you.

Just having fun is the best attitude! As I tell all my single friends, enjoy the now! Have fun, be safe, and don't worry.

Also, YAY for 30! I turned 30 in December and I love it. Best age yet.

Welcome to the party! Sex is awesome; trying stuff is awesome; despite what some people may say, married sex is awesome; and I've been told that it keeps getting better. (I'd insert a creepy story about my sex-ed teaching grandfather and feminist grandmother here, but my husband told me to stop telling those stories.)

I've been wildly unsuccessful in getting my husband to try this, so yeah, there are ladies out there that are into it.

I immediately thought of that movie as well. Life imitating art or art imitating life?

Yes! I was accused of being a homophobic racist, and my reaction was all-out sobbing. I couldn't BELIEVE that anyone would think that about me. I was absolutely stunned. I did not dismiss it. It cut me to my core and still haunts me a year later.
I cannot believe that anyone could be so glib when faced with similar.

Now I know why no one got me tickets for Christmas. I tried VERY hard to win them, but I'm really unlucky. $300 is my food budget for the month! I wish I would have seen them back in college.

I saw this movie with my Grandmom. As soon as we got out, I gave her a big hug and thanked her for keeping my uncle. She had to get married at 17, but she and my grandfather loved each other and have made it work for 63 years.
Also, this movie made me cry so hardcore.

Yeah, they got those babies faaaaaar away from their moms.

I "met" my husband when I watched him in a barely coherent student film. A mutual friend had directed the short—which featured hooded figures, a disappearing fish, the devil, and no dialogue in black and white—and invited me to watch it. My hubs was one of the three stars, and when I saw him I said, "Ooh he's

Facebook focused a LOT on the past year or so. So basically, I joined in 2005 and the look back focused on my third kid and events of the past year.

YES! We read The Fingersmith for Feminist Theory, and I loved it so much that I read all of Waters' books. I even watched some of the film adaptations, too.
