Thank you! It wasn't great or awesome, but I'm embracing 30. I'm happy to be out of my 20s. They were rotten.

Happy last 6 months of your twenties! I had planned on going out the weekend before my birthday and getting drunk as the "last bad decision of my 20s," but the plans fell through. Still, I'm embracing 30!
Happy 30 to you! Here's to a kick-ass decade!!
26 was a very good year for me, so I hope it is the same for you! Happy birthday!
I am seriously hoping so. It honestly hasn't started as awesome as I had hoped—30! Woo! Yeah!—but I have faith this decade won't disappoint.
Thank you, equally random internet stranger! I made that delicious cupcake myself, even that luscious Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting topping it, and it is delicious. If I could, I would happily share!
Get in line, Muniz. Today is MY birthday. I'm 30! No minor crises or major breakdowns today! Just some decadent chocolate cupcakes and sweet, sweet wine.
Also, my parents were super competitive. One would get me a basketball, the other would get me a basketball and hoop. This resulted in the summer of Disney in 1995. I went twice in one summer. If only I hadn't been 12, it would have been awesome.
My parents divorced before I was 1. I had some of the most obnoxious Christmases ever. Now I'm an ex-spoiled child trying to raise three non-spoiled children. It's impossible. Even if I can reign it in (which is so hard! I want to give! But I do it!), my parents screw the whole thing up. My dad has already told me…
Hahaha Crybaby was one of those movies I watched during high school and wondered if it was real. I don't know why! It just seemed so out there and awesome.
I knew my hubs was a keeper when he sang along with Fiddler on the Roof the first time we watched it together, which was coincidentally my first time watching it ever. It's not my favorite, but it was such a sweet and open gesture. However, now he sings "Tradition!" at me whenever I try to change his mind about…
You have obviously cultivated excellent friendships. I want to come to your next party!
That movie blew my 14 yo self's mind. Love everything about it! It's exclusion from this list is depressing.
Missing:
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and about 3 decades of great movie musicals from the 1930s to 1950s! It was the Golden Age of the movie musical!!
Yes to everything and a hearty "FUCK YEAH!" to All That Jazz!!!
Classic William Shakespeare reminded me of the IT Crowd. So here's some classic Moss:
Thanks! I spent all of Tuesday baking them. No one ate the pumpkin pie (all the frowns here), only one piece of the apple pie was eaten (no frowns—I'll eat it for breakfast tomorrow!), and everyone gobbled (ha) up the lemon meringue. While toasted meringue is my new favorite thing, the lemon was REALLY lemon-y.
Team Pie Forever is my new softball team name.
If you were closer to PA, I'd bring you all the pies! They are underappreciated here.
Aaaand it's upside down. I don't know why!
We are on desserts now! Here are my three pies (lemon meringue, pumpkin, and Dutch apple) with a little bit of my mom's chocolate cream pie in the corner. (She brags about this pie, but I can tell that it is Jello pudding!)
