I bought a Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild. I didn’t get them on Black Friday, but I count it since there weren’t any Switch Black Friday deals this time around. It helped save my vacation as my wife spent the majority of her time with her family so I got to lounge about and play. Additionally, I bought the

Malcom Gladwell did a great job looking into golf courses, namely those in Los Angeles and the number of insane tax breaks they get. It’s definitely worth a listen.

I doubt Cliffy B would come back for Gears. He’s set on making his game company succeed, even though LawBreakers doesn’t appear to have sold incredibly well. I think if MS came to him and said we want you to make a new IP for us, he’d jump at that opportunity especially since he would be able to release on PC as well

Glad to see public school food (at least in the South) remains unchanged. That looks damn near the same of what I ate 20 years ago as a kid during this time of year.

Hard to say. They need to shake up their exclusive line-up. Halo and Gears aren’t the system sellers they used to be. I would love to see 343 Studios or Playground Games (studio behind the Forza Horizon series) just do something totally different. That’s what Sony has done with Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games.

Exactly. Friends of mine that currently have an Xbox One lost some faith in the console when that game was canceled. Even losing niche games like Phantom Dust cause that because it feels like the company isn’t going to take risks on original ideas.

I don’t disagree that if you want the MOST power, PC is where it’s at, but for $500, you’re not going to get there.

Ultimately, the console is supposed to be designed for people that want the most power to play their games, but their thin library is what holds up people from really embracing the console. It looks worse when they let good IPs like Sunset Overdrive walk away and cancel anticipated games like Scalebound. As much as I

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a check the devs receive at the end of the month that’s dependent on the number of downloads made. I have a feeling like it would be a smaller cut since the game is free and theoretically more people will at least download to try. Ultimately, it’s meant to be an ad for those

The only time I showered in a gym that wasn’t at school was when I was a member at a location that had privacy dividers and doors in the shower area and private dressing rooms. It wasn’t that bad. I usually worked out around 5am until 6-6:30am, so there were fewer people to run into and maybe one other person using

At EA, however, things were different. “She was giving these massive presentations on the story, themes,” said one person who worked on Ragtag. “EA executives are like, ‘FIFA Ultimate Team makes a billion dollars a year.’ Where’s your version of that?”

The thing that sullied my liking of the Kinect for me was it’s poor quality. I had a launch Kinect die just about a year of ownership and the replacement MS sent me last about another year. After the second one died, I had to go full Office Space on it. I liked having voice commands to do things while I was away from

Fatburger is tremendously better than In-n-Out. I remember the hype around In-n-Out when it came to Texas and we tried it a couple of times and it was alright. Fatburger is the only burger joint that threatens the king in my burger realm, Whataburger.

I would keep the games you love the most, like Suikoden, and let go of the rest. I did that with Halo 2. I still have my copy in my closet. I know it was just made backwards compatible on the Xbox One, but I have the Master Chief Collection if I really get the urge to play it again. All my older games I’ve given to

The main culprit behind a lot of these exploits seems to be the movable cover shield. This item can only be placed in certain spots, and crafty or unlucky players can use it to break through the normal boundaries of the map.

Now playing

I got 2k17 as part of a Humble Monthly Bundle and after like 10 hours, uninstalled the game because I hated how VC is injected into everything. I did as many activities to boost the VC I earned, but it was a slog. It seems ridiculous to me that they tied the currency to PLAYER STATS. Am I eating the VC to be a better

Destiny 2. I haven’t touched any of my other games. No Overwatch. No Rise of the Tomb Raider. No Horizon Zero Dawn. It has captured me in a way I didn’t expect from what’s basically a more polished Destiny 1.

Admittedly the final act of the game is a bit of a mess, but I was able to power through.

I will say this is the only Rockstar game I ever got 100% completion for everything including driving every car available in the game, which is a lot. Depending on price and time, I may want to explore LA again and try to decipher people’s faces.
