I know it doesn’t fit the thesis of this article, which focuses on the ensemble comedy, but I think The Heat is pretty underrated. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy have great chemistry, and it’s just a nice, fun action comedy. I would personally like to see more women-led buddy movies.

I’ve seen a story or two like this before, and as someone who works everyday to get people *out* of custody, it is utterly baffling and not at all cute.
