I have to admit that I absolutely love Havana Nights. The costumes are soooo good and the leads are very very attractive. Even Romola Garai’s weird stiffness works for the role. It’s a bad movie and I watch it repeatedly because it brings me joy!

Agreed! But the fact that it is so clearly laid out! That they sat there and discussed and agreed on fucking over people who have been raped. It just blows my mind.

I like the part where they clearly note that no exceptions can be made for incest or rape. These are terrible human beings. I am so exhausted by the lack of humanity these people keep showing. There isn’t any meeting in the middle with those who can’t see other people as actual humans.

This is exactly what will be happening. There are a good number of roles that can be done remotely and everyone that has to interact on set will be quarantined. The challenge is that there is a real problem with ensuring safety protocols as it is, so will crew still be pushed to do things that aren’t safe? my guess is…

It’s not even that I am  shocked that it is happening, but I am shocked that they are doing it gleefully and with full knowledge that they are recorded and in full public view across the world.
