It would be a crazy coincidence but also really really sad if that was true! (I had really hoped she got help and was able to get better).

I wish I had thought of that! She kept saying she would replace the stuff she took or that she would stop taking my stuff, it just never happened. 

Actually there is a component of that in this story too! It all started with her staying at my apt FOR FREE over the summer while I was dealing with some family stuff. It’s crazy that people act this way!

I had hoped that at some point she would come around and realize that but it never happened. It is SO sad and I really do empathize with the pain she must have been dealing with and the shame I’m guessing she felt with me seeing all of it. But damn, she was a terrible roommate.

I absolutely love the Mandy Moore video. I hadn’t seen Walk to Remember in forever and it brought me right back. Also I love her voice. Agree that the dismissal is odd.

Maybe I just don’t know enough but dreaming up ways to entertain and play games with animals sounds really really fun. My dog just gives me side eye when I try with him.

This is more sad and awful than most of the other examples, but when I was a kid (maybe 6yrs old?) a man sitting near me had a heart attack. We had an emergency landing and he died shortly after being wheeled off the plane. I will never forget the expression on his face. Oh man, I haven’t thought about that in a while.

My old-ass house has a door between the kitchen and the dining/living room and I LOVE it that way. Sometimes you want actual separation between room and people.

I haven’t tried that one, but totally agree. The samples I’ve used of La Mer are just really incredible. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive!

That is actually how I first started using it! I hope it works for you! 

I’m similar to you but I do use it on my hands. I would absolutely not use it on my face though, it’s way to rich and heavy. I love the stuff but I don’t consider it a La Mer dupe at all.

Any side effects from it? I think the horror stories scare me from doing it, like being unable to have expressions and the botox travelling, etc.

I’m actually considering getting Botox for what look like anger or frown lines between my eyebrows. It’s frustrating when people think you are upset when you aren’t based on something you can’t really control. I have zero judgement for people who want to do something to help that.
