pretty sure there is a sign about putting your stuff on the seats, though it may be too subtle for the above mouthbreathers to fully grasp.

Someone please “curate a line” that is inspired by my daughter’s insane pattern mixing.

Maybe I’m still a little salty from my own firing, but people, there’s a HUGE difference between telling someone, “you need to shape up your act or we’re letting you go” and then telling them on Facebook that they’re fired and, “because of your excessive drinking, we’re letting you go.”

I’m so upset they’re trying to make it look like they kicked her out for drinking when THEY ALL FUCKING DRINK! If you’re gonna have a “no booze policy”, it needs to apply to everyone. This is a BS excuse he’s making.

Yesssssss (she’s still totally full of it but I enjoy her specific brand of crazy)

Tweet of the day:

Ok you have a VERY disturbing gif game.

There’s a story Jewish people tell their kids (it’s not in the Torah, it’s a Midrash) about how Abraham smashed all the idols in his dad’s shop when he was a kid. I think that might be what she’s referring to. I think what she’s saying about the Oscar is kind of sweet! It’s symbolic of not worshipping fame and stuff.

You must not come here often.

In the time between the original article, I’ve decided that I’m going break with tradition / save myself and just base the number of bridesmaids off of how many groomsmen my partner wants to include, instead of the reverse. That way I have a nice explanation to my close friends who have proven to SUUUUCKKKKK as

“I mean I love my fans but fans, just because you think you love me does not give you the right to treat me this...oh shit, now I get it.”

Uhhh, excuse the fuck out of me, but I look goddamn fantastic in a maxi dress. You can pry them from my cold dead hands.

true story: my favorite maxi dress is from Target’s maternity line. I have never been pregnant.

That fake JL baby looks more like John Legend than the real baby JL.

I’m a little too appalled by this story to say anything meaningful right now, but I do want to say that I’m very impressed that the NYT translated the story into the languages of the women they interviewed. I don’t know if that’s standard practice, but I thought that was a great step in making stories like these more

It’s only that way if you’re condescending enough to think that doing someone else’s nails is lowly, demeaning work that doesn’t deserve respect.

Yes, it’s a bandaid. Do you suggest we just stand by and let an obvious wound continue to gush? No one is saying that tipping better fixes a systemic injustice, but it might help these workers until something permanent is implemented.

She came off in the film as the one who was trying to have structure in the family, who was trying for normalcy. Haircuts, birthday parties, baths. She even says to him at one point, “Do you want your daughter to see you like that?’

I remember when I first saw the “It’s Pat!” sketches (on repeat, not when they aired), I was just beginning to get a handle on feminist & queer theory, as well as my own gender identity. At the time, I thought the sketches were transphobic and sexist.
