This looks exactly like what i want to see more of, great looking/sounding/playing games that are a hell of a lot of fun. A lot of games seem to forget about that somewhere down the line.

For years i had no idea that America didn't have the coloured buttons. I like the flat carts you guys got, but i think the JP/PAL consoles and pads are far better looking all round.

I stupidly replied to my own comment, rather than yours, but there are a few gems other and myself have just linked.

They are very different chips, the Snes has a chip far more similar to the Amiga, sampled instruments and effects rather than sine/square waves etc. Some people did awful jobs, like any chip, but some people really did make it sing...as some people have already pointed out.

Looks fairly impressive, for sure...not sure about that sound though. Would love to hear a proper MD rendition of the soundtrack, always preferred the MD sound chip.

Not sure I ever saw where they said it would replace everything with this pad, i just saw it as an alternative way to play mouse based games with a pad. If i can play Fallout 2 with a pad, i will be more than happy.

Why would the PC Multiplayer not be any fun? Also, surely that's what disgusts you about certain modders, not PC gaming in general... :/

The only thing that puts me off is the range of different models available, would need to do some research before laying down money for one. Importing too, already doing that now with the Sega Saturn though it's not actually all that expensive really.

It's not really anger or anything, just disapointment. There is such a large chunk of games that just get ignored, that can be emulated easily.

Most of them are actually 90's games. I would say the are under appreciated as you never hear people talking about them. Would also seem that others know of these games and others share the sentiments that other platforms always get left out, like Master System and TG-16/PC Engine.
