An impressive number for sure. The PC gaming landscape has changed a lot in the last few years, some of the changes for the worst in some regards, but generally it has changed for the better. Not everyone sits right with Steams inherent DRM, but for me the service has really opened up a lot of doors in terms of what

For the record, i should state that i love consoles...or at least consoles back when they weren't just PC's with a different OS and a mandatory subscription to just play online with friends. Now, for those reasons alone, puts me off what we call "consoles" these days. Never mind generally having to deal with separate

Make a handheld that looks good when hooked up to a TV, make the games reasonably priced and easily accessible, make it easy to develop for and give it some actual support...

I know that sounds really hard, i know i sound demanding, but i want some worth out of my chunk of cash.

That is stand-up worthy, for sure. ;)

Mario Kart 8 is not a great game, it's not even a good MK game at the end of the day. :( Smash Bros is just Smash bros...either you love it or you hate it. Bayonetta 2, looks ok i guess. So yeah, nuff said...

Calm down...and generally, yes. Far more of them too. ;)

I am solely on PC and retro consoles these days, have been for a long time. Day by day it seems to be the only platform that makes any sort of sense for people that love all kinds of games. Which is kind of sad and amazing in equal measures...

As have I, but it is usually from people that are very much into Nintendo and generally love those games anyway. Not to denounce their opinions, but i generally think they are just happy to be playing more of the same and rarely feel let down, even by poorer titles.

Mario Kart hasn't had quite the same positive

I maybe made that sound a bit more negative or venomous than intended. It's just a shame that these big AAA titles that are really meant to set these apart from the competition seem to generally fall flat with most people.

Only reason to buy consoles: Exclusives.
Quality of said Exclusives: Mediocre.

Can't we all just spread disease-like religions and encourage pesky tourists to come to out cities?

Given that all my modern games are purchased digitally, this doesn't really affect myself so much. These instruction manuals became so thin and lacking in content years ago anyway, I'm not sure why it is really that big a deal now.

Had physical copies still contained the same content we used to get back in the day,

A lot of companies could do wonders with the IP's, and make them available on all platforms too. I personally think it would be sad to see them go to Nintendo.

I'd rather that they researched the subject a bit more and maybe looked elsewhere for help, even in it's hey day Gamespy was never that great and most PC users would avoid it like the plague. At least if Monster Hunter was released on PC we wouldn't see an end to the online side of things. Even if they themselves took

Yeah, stick Monster Hunter on Steam and it would probably sell really well. I really want to play monster hunter but they keep releasing them on handhelds and Nintendo consoles, neither of which I have an interest in splashing out for. Handhelds especially.

I don't think i agree that RPG's aren't as good as they used to be, but each to their own. I'm just surprised how long this conversation has gone on. It's like one of those 70hr+ late 90's JRPG's with massive chunks of terrible story getting in the way of the actual game. :P Just kidding, some aren't terrible like

So it's 360 for anything modern, then a Sega Saturn pad for anything involving a D-Pad?

People on here are actually defending them over this, some even going as far as to say they would rather it came without a power adapter.

Enough to keep replying, by the looks of it. ;)

Brilliant. I'm ecstatic.

Sorry to say, but you got an F... :/
