I think the shooting feels a bit weird in FC3 and Blood Dragon, and the switch between gameplay and the option menu's is actually pretty terrible. From dust was another broken mess as is trials fusion. Not what I'd call good ports...especially from a company that cut it's teeth on home computers.

If it wasn't almost £50 for any of the games worth playing then maybe i would buy one. There is just so much quality games available elsewhere that i just can't justify the initial cost of the consoles and the premium priced games. Maybe once the price goes down and there are more than 3 games that look interesting,

Yeah, i know they will never drop it. That's why I'll probably never buy a Ubisoft game, they are never well optimized for PC anyway so I'm not really that fussed.

Maybe they will ditch that car fire that is Uplay by then, It's a start to encouraging me to by it.

So...PC looks and runs best, Xbone comes in 2nd and the 360 looks very impressive given the age of the machine. Surely that's the only conclusion we need to come to, right?

I'll still be on this day one. Shame about the lighting effects but from what i've played on PS3 i know i will enjoy it all the same. I agree it's bullshit that they haven't bothered with the awesome lighting for the PC version but I'm really there for the gameplay, at least it's better than the capped 30fps bullshit

Did anyone else lol when they realised you only need a mediocre PC to run a better version of darksouls than the latest consoles?

I did give Sonic generations a good try, it just didn't have anything that made me want to keep playing. I really like the recent racing games but Sonic games themselves have just been disappointing since his return on the Dreamcast.

Most Sonic games are generally quite mediocre affairs at the end of the day, i agree that Generations still isn't what i want in a sonic game. It's probably the best one since S&K in all honesty, but that's not a hard achievement given the track record.

Yeah, i really didn't care for Generations at all. It seemed good for the first few minutes and then crashed and burned. Don't think i even managed to get to the second boss before i found it far too tedious. Quite a disappointment given how much praise it seems to get.

Can we please just lay Sonic to rest now? I mean, how much longer can Sega drag his dead carcass around? Every year they spray the lifeless husk down with Febreze and drag him out for another disappointing and lacklustre show.

I like the racing games but damn sega, put the mandatory BIG Sonic game to bed already. It's

I now have this image of a homeless alcoholic bum with nothing on his plate trying to tell anyone that will listen that the end is nigh. The thing is, they all just laugh and carry on enjoying life like they should. It's sad to see...so much pain, so much butthurt.

Nintendo doing things across all platforms would probably be the best decision they could make. I like to play the odd Nintendo game but none of their titles scream out that i need a dedicated system for them.

Guess we will just have to see what they are willing to release in terms of apps and games on mobile devices

So i can have my butter on stale bread and moldy bread now?

Wonderful.

Do you know me? No. Didn't think so...

Well as long as they keep it off of the PC then i don't care, it doesn't need that trash dirtying up it's library.

When you save a big percentage on the cost of your software over the next god knows how much years then yeah, it is cost effective. Huge library of games, backwards compatibility, run any apps or any kind of media you like, use any peripheral and not have to pay to play online. Much cheaper in the long run.

It is a valid discussion or argument at the end of the day. With new consoles out that can't match resolutions that PC's have been hitting for years you really have to wonder if they are worth the cost of entry. I'm sure as hell not going to fork out £500 on some hardware that's games cost £45 when they don't look or

I'm excited for this, even though it's Morrowinds mechanics that make me really enjoy the game. Levelling up your character just hasn't been as good in the later games. Will be nice to see the swamps and forests with the beautiful Skyrim engine though.

So after a year on the market, X is still the only thing that looks remotely like it could justify the initial investment of the Wii U. Damn, Nintendo. Damn...
